Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

This is probably something only Frontier can fix ? Getting that since a few days now, preventing automatic updates.

Yes, nothing I can affect. I can only shift your last import date to skip that day, so you will miss the records when there were any. Alternatively, it will be skipped automatically after ~10 days.
Dan ShoIt seems you cant add stations / installations anymore. It is still possible to edit existing installations though. Is this a bug or a feature or am I missing something?
It's a feature - the adding of new stations was disabled permanently for various reasons (mentioned a page or two back here). Inara is now however importing all the installations, settlements, etc. through the journal imports (via Import Frontier data feature). So if there are some installations missing in the given star system, just fly there and import your data.

Hello, there is unfortunately nothing I can do about that, the game works that way (modifying price by your cargo and current demand). Please see the OPR column to get a range of observed prices and also pay an attention to the QTY column (the station demand).

I have been successful with three of these ... but failing with a new one.
I go to link my account ... it's a Steam one.
It goes to the Steam login windows, and I log in to the correct new Steam account.
Inara claims a successful link ... to a different Steam account with a different Cmdr name and different Steam login???
How to correct the linkage? I've tried re-setting but it keeps making the incorrect link.

If you are sure that you logged in using a correct account, then you probably will need to contact Frontier about it. During the process, Inara receive just OAuth token (which is stored) and all operations are performed by using this token. So, for (simplified) example, Inara asks: "What commander is under this token?" and Frontier's server returns the information. It seems that the token was assigned to an incorrect account on Frontier's side for some reason.

Regarding data quality in station listings, I'd recommend removing the Government and Allegiance from the "Edit station, megaship or installation" form and just let us select the Controlling Faction.
You know the Government and Allegiance details of the factions, so asking for it every time just gives users extra work and a good chance of entering incorrect data.

I suppose you are using EDDI? I think its updates via API are capable to change the ship roles and that may be a culprit. Inara is not changing the roles otherwise (any other way than by manual user edit).

Yeah I did raise it a while ago, thought I'd flag it up as you were doing a pass on that code.
Auto-adding of system assets is a great improvement, thanks for adding it.

OG Eddy GrimmHIP 36601 does not appear on site, tells me I'm in Deciat instead.
It's possible, I am not storing stuff far outside the Bubble/Colonia, unless there is something interesting like stations, megaships, etc.

Hmm, possibly that jump wasn't recorded in the journal by some accident? No idea, but I can check the journal - which star system at what timestamp? Do you remember from/to which system you were jumping before/after?
