Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

A lot of player details can be made private, but the overview is mostly public. I recently set myself a target of getting higher in the ranks and working on the medals are a big part of that. I like to compare my medal haul to others. Call me a sad old goat, but it's made it fun.
Plus whoever did the medals did a really nice job with them, it brightens up the pages which have more than enough tables and graphs (which are great in own right), but the balance is appreciated.

Aunty SledgeI don't mind things being moved around, but I would say that the medals are nice to have on the overview page.

I agree. When having a quick look at someone's page, the medals tells you a lot more about the type of player they are.

ArtieHoleyMcMoleyI'm seeing what seems to be a rather strange bug with the trade routes.
It's telling me that I can sell Agronomic Treatment from George Lucas | Leesti to Landis Settlement | Lansbury.
However, when I load the market info for those stations, I see that both of them are only listed as having "buy" prices (and a figure in the supply column). Am I missing the point here or is this a bug?
Not a bug, you can still sell the goods there even with no demand - as the price is high enough, you will still have the profit listed there. It works that way in the game, so it's a feature.
Yeah, that's fair, but the profit shown was the difference in the two "buy" prices, not buy vs sell prices. The actual profit seemed to have been overestimated by 3k.

Yep, by "no demand" I also mean no demand at all with the station not buying, just selling. As far as I know the prices shouldn't differ that much, but please let me know if you will see consistently lower profits for such cases, I can add some flat "tax" for it to have it more precise (maybe something changed in the game, so I would like to know what price you've got when selling at such station and what was their price listed).

ArtieThank you all for your thoughts! There was another work in progress version I was thinking about for the front page (and also maybe the Ranks page, to keep it unified) which utilize the space better while containing all the information, see the image below. What do you think about that?

I like the setup as all Accolades and shown well here, i de prefer it to be stacked one after the other in desktop view but this will do as well.

Also, on you profile, Artie, the Inara and CQC rank are shown, but on mine they aren't? Is there a settings I missed somewhere to display them on the overview?
Edit: Also, I preferred the displaying of your preferred rank (combat, trading, exploration) as your "default profile image" over what you added in now. May be just me though.

OK, sadly I don't seem to have recorded any screenshots of what I saw last night (and I didn't actually go to either station).
I observed that EDDB lists buy and sell prices for Agronomic at Landis, but Inara only lists the buy/demand price. The EDDB prices differed by about 3k last night, when I looked, but today they are almost identical (which seems weird, all by itself! ).
My suspicion had been that the Inara system was using the buy price when calculating how much the Agronomic would fetch at Landis, instead of the (correct, but missing) sell price.
You will know how your code works, so if this extra info doesn't trigger an "oh bugger" moment for you, I will just keep my eyes peeled for any other weirdness I see, and do a better job of collecting the data next time so you can debug it properly

OK, I just took another look for the issue, and found it again in two of the trade routes offered to me.
I focussed on markets which only have a buy price listed on Inara for Agronomic, despite being the target of a sell in the trade route. It seems like such routes indicate the profit you'd get if you could genuinely sell at the "buy" price. Last night, I'm pretty sure this was a 3k differential for Agronomic at Landis, but today the variations are smaller.
If you compare the Ride Hub | 45 c Bootis to Aulin Enterprise | Aulin trade route for example, it's showing a profit of 21,985, which is (getting the sell price from EDDB) 688 credits more than you should reasonably expect (pic below). Negligible difference for sure, but this does confirm to me that Inara's profit calculation is using the buy price even when selling the goods to a station. (I guess I'm also wondering why Inara only lists one price for each commodity, even when EDDB lists both.)
You probably don't need any further data but I did actually save a full set of screenshots this time in case they help

I will respond to stuff about CMDR profiles later with more feedback and after evaluating the options. Thanks for it!
