Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I still don't understand how the factions here are selected. I mean the one in nearby systems that are not the control factions...

The first column are the weakest non-local factions, and so likely to be involved in any war should you invade their systems.

The second column is the strongest faction in the system, so the system owner you are likely to upset if you pop up in their system.

An expansion in your example would take you to the 1st system as it only has 6 factions. Expand again and it would be against the Kausgpoos Pro-Alliance Union as they have the lowest influence.

There are a number of extra variables to be taken into consideration which can mess up your plans, but those are the broad brush strokes of how it works.

As stated in the tooltip and mentioned before: It lists the controlling faction (orange), factions also present in the selected star system (white) and non-native factions with low influences (grey).

What is the difference between Trusted Allies and Allies in the squadron mission visibility setting?

Trusted allies are allied squadrons that have been allied with you for over 2 weeks.

UN1K!Hello,
on https://inara.cz/cmdr-all-modules the exp. Effects not shown. How can I fix this?
Screenshot: https://ibb.co/4gW7KkB
Thank You very much

Hello, unfortunately there is no way how to fix it at the moment. The experimental effects are not written into the journal for the stored modules, just the modification.

You could add the function of simply entering the experimental effects manually.
That would help a lot in order not to unnecessarily e.g. To engineer weapons, as they could also be used in other ship builds.

That's not so simple, too (due a lack of the unique module identifiers in the journal and problems it brings with modules transfers, etc.). The simplest and most reliable solution is to have the exp. effects in the journal for the stored modules - I have asked Frontier for that, but no idea when and if it will make into the journals.

I have recently created a squadron. How could i import the squadron data automatically from somewhere to inara, instead of write them manually?

Do you mean the squadron members? You can't. Everyone has to join your squadron manually.

Suggestion for the Data page, could This part be sorted alphabetically? It would be a lot easier to find the right service!

Good point, will be in the next update.

I think it would be great to add the ability to set the default view settings for certain pages like the Squadron page and Commodity section. It would be nice to jump straight to the Faction system states instead of landing at Roster every time, for example. Same with commodities section. Having to constantly switch to exports and deselect carriers and surface sites gets tedious when working BGS.

If setting default behaviour is too much, just remembering your previous preferences /location would be enough.

Hi, I'm experimenting some micro-management operations of BSG minor factions in terms of influence. I was wondering if it could be possible to show the second decimal digit too, cause the rounded single digit is hard to valuate with enough precision. o7

I will probably put some option to select some favorites (factions, commodities, etc.) to be in the shortcuts bar later. It's just an initial idea, but it should solve this problem.

Probably not, it's not needed for the common operations and it will make the tables/numbers a little bit less readable at a first glance. For such experiments I suggest to check the journals directly, because you will get even better precision for the influences from there.

There was a problem with Frontier's service while requesting the data. Please wait a couple of hours and then try to repeat your request.
[httpCode: 0, fetchCode: 28]

I wanted to ask if this would be an inara-side or frontier-side.
Hence the fetchcode: 28 instead of it being an httpcode error.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Cmdr kenji_088

Hello, it's a Frontier-side problem. I have adjusted your import date to skip the problematic journals, please try again.
