Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I am checking the signature from inara's signature page. When I change the background it works immediately but the current ship is not displayed. No big deal just letting you know
Ah, I misunderstood the problem. The ship on the signature image is the ship set as main (as is also on the license on top of the CMDR profile page), not the currently flown ship. So that's the cause.
Nkizo BaxterFor some odd reason INARA keeps importing ship names in a manner Uss Not The Enterprise instead of USS Not The Enterprise. Has anyone noticed that?

Yes, Frontier is now providing the carrier/ship names completely in uppercase, so I need to do some conversion to avoid unnecessarily "bold" names. I have some most frequent abbreviations (like USS, HMS, etc.) covered in such conversion, but not every one of them. In such case, please manually adjust the ship names and it should stay that way (unless all uppercase or unless the in-game name changed).

In the list, factions seem to be assigned to the left or right column randomly, which makes sense since A vs B is the same as B vs A. However, when Holdack Prison Colony (an Independent faction) is on the left column, they display as being Empire aligned, but when on the right hand column, they display as independent.
I don't know why this is the case, or if it's happening with any other factions.

I had the same message, I think it's just when you have more than one third party tool running and "talking" to Inara. I had both EDMC and EDDI running. If you remove your Inara credentials from one or the other I think it should stop the problem.
As far as I know, they both perform similar roles so there's no loss in effectively disabling one of them.

With tritium being sold for so low at drought systems the best commodity many times for the return trip is food cartridge's.
How ever the search algorithm doesn't allow this commodity to be included in the search "Min. commodity price: 750 Cr" Could this be changed please to include all commodities even lower ones?

This is particularly important for our squadron carrier right now, as the ingame UI incorrectly reports the amount of stored ships from other CMDRs as 0 (while in fact there are such ships stored on it) and we don't have an easy way of viewing the amount of stored ships on it.
If you want to implement a different solution that would also accomplish this, that would be ok too

Ooh, that is a strange one ................... I seem to recall reading a post from Artie about tightening up on the thresholds for other software polling Inara. I guess your message is a result of just such a tightening!
Funny though because since I disabled the connection between EDMC and Inara all appears to be OK with just EDDI passing information. Do you use voice attack?, I do and EDDI functions as a plugin and it’s not obvious that it’s running ‘ until it speaks to me ‘ of course.

Yeah, it seems to be wrong, despite the latest fix. I will take another look on that, thanks for the report.

By the situation described and with just one software/instance running, that shouldn't happen. The limits are tight, but not so tight. Please let me know if it will happen again.

Maybe. There are some limits needed as getting the best prices and loop routes around isn't exactly a cheap operation. But maybe I can reflect also the target prices higher than that. I will take a look on that, but no promises as I need to run performance tests first.

DragoCubXHey Artie, it came up in my squadron today, but apparently you can't share your ship's stored locations with other Commanders, as there is no setting for it. I was wondering whether that is something you could implement, at least for intra-squadron use?

Probably, I haven't looked into it yet, but I have it on the list. I think it should be doable (if the stored ships/modules locations are properly reported for carriers in the each commander data).

Commodore1984I do commodity trading with my carrier, and I update daily, but in the commodities and market area my carrier does not show for buying and selling the commodities that I have buying and selling. Is there a setting I have missed that would allow it to show up in the public market? Do I have to do a market connector thru pc? Thank you any help would be very greatly appreciated
Yes, for the realtime updates it's a best way. I am currently testing some improvements for console commander in that area, too.
