Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

KryxixAunty SledgeI've seen the first Megaships being auto-added to Inara. Megaships are always owned by the system controller, so you could complete the Faction, Government, and Allegiance fields when adding them.
The megaship types is populating correctly, which is really handy. I think range is the only value that commanders will need to input.
Wait with this. I already found 8(!) non-dockable megaships, what are NOT owned by the system control faction. (Banner/Hogan/Samson class bulk megaships.)
This is getting interesting. What systems are they in? Are you looking in Inara or in-game?

All the other ships I mentioned before are the same case, unlocked from the original owners property, and now some new factions own them. (Three of them were Banner-Class Bulk Cargo Ships, what shiptype is not in your list).
There is a lonely megaship lurking in IC 4604 Sector FB-X c1-16 (shipname "Sarasvati" ), which has no owner faction (unpopulated system).

My list is only what I've come across personally, it is certainly not complete. Not had the pleasure of spotting a Banner-Class yet.

Could you add "My favourite factions" to the system pages, where it currently lists "My favourite systems"?
Sounds odd I know, but it would really reduce the clicks required when doing BGS stuff. At the moment I'm listing faction home systems but it's far from ideal.
Or, perhaps add a favourite links options which could include on-site and off-site links? Then people could add whatever they liked.

Hello I am playing with 2 separate CMDR: WADUQUON and LINKALNOIR.
It seems that there is a mix between those 2 about the status. I get the status of LINKALNOIR in place of WADUQUON.
On my PS4 the distinction is well maintained
Could you check, please and fix it if possible?

Yes they are there, but I can't dictate which pages they show up in. Now, if could have a personal widget section in the right sidebar where we could select the favourites and where we want them, now that would be wonderful.

I am asking that instead of countless clicking and going through pages there may be a better way how to provide desired information on a single page.

Hello, nothing I can do, as it requires user's action. Please unlink the respective account here in the settings, also logout on PSN site and then try to connect the accounts again. Use the correct PSN login during the process and it should do the trick.

ArtieYeah, I mean what was the intention with that "....showing what stuff is under each section." I am not sure I understand what exactly it should show and on which links.
Having a tooltip that reads something like "here you can find things related with Z, such as sections A, B, C, ..." It would solve issue of searching for options for a longer time if someone doesn't use them pretty often.
I had to ask someone on Discord where you block people, since option was nowhere in the section connected with Friends and Contacts.

When doing BGS stuff you often need data about a faction that isn't in the system, mostly when considering retreats and expansions.
Having reviewed how I do things, I think I can work with what we have so far. I just need to favourite the important factions in the area. When I want to look at one I just click any random faction in the system and then I can see Favourite Factions. It's a two-click step, but better than my current use of bookmarking faction home systems as I need to remember a lot of faction home systems.
Having the faction favourites on the page would be a single-click solution but I appreciate not everyone wants/needs favourite factions on the systems page.
Another idea which might help with clicks is to add "Commander - My Current Location" in th shortcuts menu.

ArtieThanks for the details and research on the megaships ownership, guys. I keep it noted, but for not I won't do any automatic setting (it has its complexity) - it also seems quite odd to me that travelling megaships can change the owner just by jumping into another system (by game design). That's just weird.
You can see it as the megaship not belonging to any faction (but perhaps by some non-political organization), thus falling under the jurisdiction of the local controlling faction as it controls the space surrounding the place the megaship jumped to.
On the contrary, it would be even stranger to have them keep an allegiance, since that would put faction assets in systems the faction isn't even active in. Looks like a BGS limitation to me.
