Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Feature request: when searching for commodity sell prices, have a setting that restricts the search to stations where black market is open, and (more importantly) shows the black market sales prices, including any bonus from archon delaine exploitation

Rebecca HailAutocutting quotes seems like a better idea each day

Should be live at this very moment.

Mgram
Yep, we would just like to be able to view the same stats on that page within certain timeframes, such as "last 7 days" or "last 14 days", currently it displays the entire last 30 days and we have no way to tell how many missions someone has completed within a smaller timeframe. (without just counting them one-by-one on their own page :/ )

Alright, thanks for the confirmation.

There are no special updates for the black market prices, but you can more or less reliably derive it from the regular prices (although there are some black market prices coming in via EDDN, they are very scarce so it's unusable). The stations with black market present are having a skull icon next to them.

There was a minor "in the background" update made for Inara, in preparation for fleet carriers. The most visible change is following - there was a manual adding of new stations completely disabled and changing of some station types limited. Although there certainly were no ill intentions,  there was/is a non-trivial amount of stations that were added by mistake with the incorrect name, incorrect type and sometimes even with the incorrect location or added twice. To reliably track fleet carriers and other travelling objects (like bulk carriers), there needs to be some restrictions made and such mistakes in manual edits are just adding a mess. The incorrect entries will be corrected or completely removed in the following weeks. However, one of the upcoming features is that Inara will automatically add orbital installations, settlements, stations and similar stuff also on your journal imports. It should make the situation with tracking all the assets much easier. It's not live yet, but ready to be deployed.

Ohh this sounds really cool. Do we have to scan settlements and outposts to get them into Inara?

When wars are complete will Inara update the stations with the new owner, or will they need to be scanned again?

For the orbital installations, jump into the system (with a system scan, when necessary) is sufficient. For the planetary installations, there needs to be ApproachSettlement event triggered (so you must fly nearby). No automatic minor faction ownership changes, it still needs to be done manually (there is no record for that in the journals). I may do some semi-auto updates based on the war results (when known) later, but it may not cover everything (especially with scarce influence records).

I was about to say "Where the heck did the Edit button go?" when I wanted to add a newly discovered Megaship in one of our Systems.

Ah I see, so we can still edit stations, we just don't need to add them manually any more. Got it.

Is this change feeding in from ED:MC and therefore into EDDB as well? There is a lot of data in Inara that doesn't make it into EDDB (and probably the other way too).

Nope, I want to have reliable data, there is no proper scheme in EDDN and I doubt such kind of data will have any use on EDDB anyway. So Inara-only thing.

I'm trying to send out a message to CMDRs in my squadron. It only lets me send to a few (~20) at a time. But after sending a couple of messages, new messages I send aren't showing up in my mailbox. Did they go through or not?

Yeah, some mechanics are there to prevent spamming. If the message wasn't shown there, then it was not send. I recommend to use other channels like discussions or discord for such mass notices.

Hi, just want to check, I'm running EDMC and EDDiscovery. EDMC is syncing to INARA. EDD is not syncing. yet I keep getting the too many requests slow down cowboy message.

Any Idea whats going on?

By the logs it seems your EDMC is running twice, so sending the data also twice, causing this problem.

thx for the prompt response, I spotted that almost as soon as I'd posted the OP

Thanks Artie

I agree it's not ideal. But I was looking for another avenue in addition to our Facebook page and Discord to alert our North American Time Zone CMDRs of our new in-game squadron.

I managed to find a workaround for the spam filter. Thank you!

The automatic adding of orbital installations and planetary settlements on journal imports (through Frontier) is live. If there was some historical POI added, please delete it and let me know (which one and where). If there wasn't some installation/settlement added, although it should, please let me know, too. If there will be some duplicates with wrong name, please delete the wrong one (and I don't need to know ). You don't need to do that for misplaced bulk cruisers, they should change their location automatically (unless their name is wrong, of course).

There is a system of filters applied because various localized POIs can mess things, so there is possible some minor fine-tuning will be needed.
In a case you will notice an installation with no or incorrect type set, please adjust it. I am trying to derive the installation type by its name automatically on insertion, but it's not always possible.
