Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Currently not, but I may add this to the wing settings. It will be just wing page related though - wing name, etc. will still stay visible in the commander profiles.
Martind ForlonA question: is somewhere a list with features planned to go, thinked about or/and declined?
I wanted in more cases simple to "say thx" for post and "I like" button will be perfect for this. If can be added also to regular post, it will be really nice.
Second thing related to post editor is function "back", its very likely more complicated stuff, but if can be in the future implemented, also will be nice. Lost yesterday hour of typing bcs misclick (I know, I could use save draft when write diary, but its not the same).
The short list is on the right side here, for the most asked features. But my ToDo list has something around 90+ items, ranging from major features to smaller tweaks or changes needed and I do not want to have it published. So if do you have any idea, feel free to toss it here.
Yeah, handling "back" button is little bit complicated in some cases, but I'll try to take a look at least for most critical places.

I see no issue on his account. But, I did some changes right now for button disabling script for a case there is javascript completely disabled on client's side. Maybe it was his problem, so he can try it now. Otherwise no idea what's wrong...

BBQSAMICHAnother idea, how about ranking based on participation more than manually entered, unverifiable Elite: Dangerous data? I was able to bump myself to #1 just by lying that I was top everything and setting my assets to a ridiculous number. Meanwhile, many people can't break the thousands when they actively participate in the site.
Anyway, just a thought. Thanks!
The ed market tool puts in all of your data like status credits ships in a file and other shipload out travel history in your documents file .
if it is some how posible to integrate this data into inara you can have confirmed and unconfirmed rankings.

There is limited history on each power page, which usually covers few cycles back, but I agree it's not ideal solution. But I have something like graph (with tooltips) with changes of each cycle on my mind for some of the future improvements.

Basically, any help with correcting station data, etc. is appreciated (and there will be also minor factions upcoming, which will need some love - I pre-populated list from the known sources, removed lot of mistakes, typos, etc. but it will still need manual adjustments). There are data coming from EDDN already and there are also used for auto-adding new stations, etc., so API won't help too much for such stuff. But it is something I am planning to have there.

Rather not, as it will also encourage spam of posts/images/etc. with low value. Fortunately, everybody here understands that these rankings are based on principle of mutual trust and it is going much better than expected. I just noticed less than five mistakes in ranks set which needed to be corrected so far and just one case where ranks were set high by purpose (apparently by some guy which was unable to understand that principle and did it during his "silent ragequit" ). Which is not bad for almost 10k commanders ranked.

Not to interested in market data or station data APIs. There's plenty of resources for that in the universe. However, Inara is tracking a lot of things that others aren't (location, credits, and ships for example). All of these things are available from the companion API data feed and would reduce the need for so much manual data entry. While I could hook into your current HTTP POST methods in some cases it does not work well (haven't finished a full dive into all the forms, so maybe this isn't the case).
The usefulness of a dedicated API, for example, would be the ability to create a plugin for market connector to post details inara tracks to inara. Which would give people the capability to automatically update their most basic information. Biggest use case I can find is automatically updating people's fleet of ships (including ship dock location), currently flown ship, location, rankings, and assets.
As far as help updating station info, etc. I'm doing this already as I play. Hopefully everyone is because there's too much space for one man. Similar will be very true for minor factions updates. In any case, if you'd like help with implementation details, my offer still stands. Feel free to reach out any time.
