Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Amazing, thankyou.

I had visions of starting from scratch. I owe you one.

While I'm here, thanks for doing such a great job with this website.

Hi,

On a "my fleet" page, if you click on one of your ships, there is a warning saying "Coriolis is ignoring all the module engineering data exported by Inara at the moment"
and referencing the issue https://github.com/EDCD/coriolis/issues/631 which was fixed and released.

So, could someone remove the warning now?

Thanks a lot

Is the fix working for you? I just exported a ship to Coriolis, and all the engineering data was gone.

Seems to be working for me. The first ship I exported didn't have the right engineering, but there was a "Refresh" option at the top of the page with some text about a new update being available. Now that I've done that, it's all working fine.

Co'hen MacBainNow that I've done that, it's all working fine.

Tried again, and now it's working here, too.

So I agree, the warning is no longer needed.

Thanks for the information, I see it was updated just yesterday. I will remove the warning there later today or tomorrow.

Commanders,
there were two new medals added to your CMDR profiles - The Exobiologist and The Samaritan. On top of that, many existing medals were rebalanced, so the lower tiers should be easier to obtain. Another rebalance pass may come later on (especially for the Xeno-hunter and the lately added medals). You may need to hop into the game and import your latest data via the "Import Frontier data" button to have the changes properly reflected.

Also, it is worth to be mentioned that Coriolis is now supporting ship loadout imports, including their engineering, so you can use it alongside EDSY and easily export your ship loadouts for further experiments. Another thing worth mentioning is that fleet carriers should be calculated towards the overall assets after the game update 7, which is going to be released this week.

As usual, there was a couple of minor improvements and bug fixes made, too.

Enjoy!

Love the changes. You are right about those ones might need a rebalance.

Xeno being hard isn't so bad, it is end-game content after all. The Exobiology medal is a grind-cherry on top of a grind-cake. The Samaritan one looks like fun even if it could be a fair amount of work.

Hi Artie

Love the update, and especially the medals rebalance.

Thank you for that!

Yeah, it certainly deserve yet another pass, even for the tier 5 medals - they should be rare, but not that rare as they currently are (less than 0.1% of commanders have them). So let's see how this change will be going first.

Thanks for the medals updates! Out of curiosity, is there a page or something that details all the requirements for the different medal levels?

The new Samaritan rank i have done over 15k or more in saving passengers from burning stations but it only shows as 2k in the rank any idea why?

You need FDev to update the records. Try logging out/in of ED and then run the import again.

Ah, one thing I forgot to mention for the Samaritan medal, as the items and civilians rescue value is a little bit complicated. There are three things contributing to it:
- items rescued via Search & rescue (the value is a part of the game stats)
- items rescued from burning stations via missions (not a part of the game stats)
- civilians rescued from burning stations via missions (also, not a part of the game stats)

For the Search & rescue items, it works retrospectively all the time, for the items and civilians it works retrospectively only if the player was importing his/her journals regularly (so Inara knows the numbers from missions). I was originally thinking about including just the Search & rescue items there, to have the exact number all the time, but omitting items and civilians rescued from the burning stations seemed like a missed opportunity thus I've included it as well. But until Frontier includes (if that will happen) those two numbers into the game stats, there may be some discrepancies in it (similar as for the Xeno-hunter medal).
