Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

first I like to thank you for this wonderful webpage and the support for Elite Dangerous you are providing with this webpage.
I think there is a bug when members buy a carrier. After doing this yesterday I'm missing 1.770.670.960 credits.
Can you check this please?

Exporting your ship to Coriolis doesn't have the correct module power priority and doesn't export your ships name, while for EDSY both work fine. Might want to take a look at it when you can. The URLs for both seem monstrous though...

Hello, it looks like an issue with 3rd party app not sending the overall assets value via Inara API updates, which is causing this problem. Some apps like EDDiscovery are sending it already, some not yet (but I suppose it will get solved next month at the latest, as I will start to enforce the overall assets property requirement for the credits updates via API).
KiksunatorAs a pretty minor thing, which might have been reported already:

It's a problem on Coriolis' end - I am sending the very same data to Coriolis as to EDSY (just encoded differently, as the respective site requires. You can also see the data exported in a plain form by clicking the "Export loadout" button). So please contact Coriolis guys about it. #notmyfault

Hi Artie,
thanks for your immediate response. I'm not using a third party app (ED ist hosted via Steam), connected with ED. Inara is the only platform, which ist connected with the Data from FD / Steam.

The rewards are given as normal, but it does cause mission to remain open and eventually expire in the Inara mission log.
Since this is a bug in Elite I created a bug report for it: Issue 47010
I figured I post this it also here, so that people might become aware of it (and that it might also get a bit of extra attention).
If this was not the right place, because it is not directly an Inara bug, my apologies.

Ah, I've seen some unconfirmed credits entry there before, assuming it's from some app. But it was just a manual entry, I guess.
In any case, I have double checked the data coming in and the overall assets value seems to correspond to the journal records (and in-game stats). As far as I am aware, the credits stored on the fleet carrier are still not counted in into this number, I have however no idea where the rest of the overall assets value missing is (it seems like something else from the carrier isn't counted towards the overall assets in the game, too). I am afraid there is not much I can do, as the game/journal is reporting the number as it is and until Frontier will adjust/improve/fix that, it will stay this way.
StukjesWhen handing in a mission that was given by a NPC on the concourse, there is no "MissionCompleted" event written to the game journal.

Thanks for the reporting and the link! It seems like a new bug, because it was working before (well, except the cases where haggling was involved and the mission was not accepted, but it was still recorded in the journal). Hopefully more reports will get there.

The megaship ”Golden stag” has the station type ”Installation” here in its data, but in the game it is a dockable megaship. That made me not notice it in the list of nearest stations. It is located in Onoros.

Hi Artie,
thanks again for your kind response.
In game, the Credits are available. But in your statistics, the credits are not included. In the account of my carrier, actually there is an amount of 1.000.000.0000 credits stored. But in the second of buying / activating my carrier, there is an other amount of credits, disappearing in your statistics.
At first hand, you can try to include the account of the carrier in your asset statistics. Is this possible? After this, we can try to find the rest ... :-)))
Kind regards

The problem is that the game (journal) reports only credits in your "wallet" and the overall assets value at the session start. I then need to calculate any credits/assets changes across the session based on it (which is usually no problem, there may be just some very minor discrepancies for reasons I haven't fully discovered yet as the game server and journal values reported may not fit sometimes (but not sure about that, but it's truly very minor like a few credits, so no big deal)).
The credits stored on a fleet carrier are in a "vacuum" in respect to the "wallet", they are not a part of it as reported by the journals and the only way I can get them is to fetch the fleet carrier information extra, which brings multiple complications - I would need to make a request for FC data for each reportable credits change which is further complicated by caching on Frontier's server (which is an understandable behavior there). It all can end with a huge mess of incorrect credits value or the credits value not being written into Inara's log at all (for example when I know there may be the cache mentioned involved due previous and recent FC request, so I very likely have no up to date credits stored on FC value information).
So Inara reports your "wallet" credits and FC credits independently, as seen in the game. That also applies to overall assets value - the value is same as in the in-game stats.

I've been pondering for a while now why I can't work out my total assets balance - this is now 3.2bn, and my credit balance is 1.6bn. IIRC these match with ingame stats. However, the ship value per Inara is roughly 1bn, so there's a discrepancy of about 600m. Even if I take my handful of suits and weapons into account (5 suits and 10 weapons, mostly G3), I can't quite explain that big of a difference, unless it's how Inara calculates the ship incl. modules values...
Any thoughts on what could be the difference by any chance?
Many thanks - it's kinda driving me mad at this point lol!

Hello, to be honest, I am not sure. Your ships values exactly fit what is provided by the journal/cAPI profile, the credits and overall assets values also match what is provided by the journal, so I can say for sure that Inara has it correct. No idea where the 600m discrepancy from the game stats came from. A couple of months ago I thought it counts the personal equipment in and that especially high tier/highly modded equipment may be absurdly valuable/expensive, but my personal stats have no personal equipment counted towards the overall assets at all (and credits + ships value + stored modules value sum perfectly fits). I think it can also count the value of the cargo loaded into the ship, but it seems your ship is empty so it's not this case.
You can try to contact Frontier's support about that, maybe it's some bug or they can at least shed some light into it. I am curious what they will respond, too. (Maybe it's even related to the problem Rpok mentioned before, where seems to be an odd discrepancy present as well.)

Hi Artie,
OK, it's only a game ... why worrying about 1,8 bn. credits

Interesting, thanks for the quick response and looking into this Artie. I might just go and raise a ticket to see if they can explain it. Unfortunately I haven't monitored the figures until more recently, and it seems the gap seems to have increased continuously over the months (I reset my account mid last year which you can see in my history I'm sure so started with 0). I did play in Horizons for a while over Christmas on a different machine... wonder if that might have something to do with it. Anyways if I raise a ticket and get a reply I'll report back.

If I take a look in Codex / Command. / Statistics the by FD reported figures are definitively wrong. Actually I have a state of Elite III in Trading and the total earned credits by trading in the Codex-Stats are about 785 Millions. In real case this figure must show something about 5 to 6 Billion credits.
Don't know what they are calculating in this stats ...
