Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Nathanc213Hey artie would it be possible to move the preferred role to CMDRs log instead of settings?
Maybe, I am not sure about it yet. As it is something that is usually set once, I kept it in Settings. Although CMDRs log seems to be more appropriate place for it, I had no section where to place it. But maybe I will revamp it a little bit in the future.

Market / Ross 733 / Forest Terminal

Clarification:
When loading Market at SYSTEM "Ross 733", station "Forest Terminal" is greyed out & not selectable.
When loading Market at STATION "Forest Terminal [Ross 733]", there is no problem.

It's an intention, as this station has no market set, it is not clickable as there is almost nothing to see. But it's right it should be allowed to see shipyard at least. I will make some changes to the next update.

Since Horizons we now have systems with no orbital stations but which do have have surface stations. There are a couple near where I'm based. These do not appear in the database here. Not too important for those without a commodities market I guess (though all can be the target for missions), but for those that do have them it would be useful to be able to add them. Is this something a player can do or is it one for Artie?
And again, I may have missed the answer completely so my apologies if I'm wasting everyone's time.

AngrybillboDoes anybody know if the outfitting selection will improve in onnes after the CG finishes as its a little short of good supplies ATM , if a discount is being offered it should offer a good selection ??
equipment has limited supplies and a restock rate , both are variable . so eventualy when the sales are over the shelves will refill (but only with items they stock)

I think he is talking about I Sola Prospect, the planetary outpost which is going to be updated to have ALL ships and ALL outfitting in the game, and if that is going to be added to Inara database.
I think that's what he meant.

Sorry I mean onnes gateway has a poor selection of ship outfitting equipment ie frame shift drives , thrusters etc
And we are doing a CG at the mo to gain a discount on the outfitting at onnes is there going to be an improvement on the equipment??

I've got a feature request: Automerge messages. Sometimes somebody could post various posts in a row, and since people don't use the Edit button (I do, but people usually ignore it) I think an automerge feature could be handy and automatically avoid the post-like-a-chat issue

The new stations are added from EDDN when they will appear there or can be added manually. There is lot of surface stations already and if there is some missing, they can be added. Anyone can head to Edit star/station on market page and add/fix the stations, including these on the surface (there just needs to be proper station type set, which identify them as surface stations).

Hello, I am not a friend of automatic auto-merge by default, because sometimes it is handy to post messages in two different posts. If there is mess in wing discussions, for example, it can be solved by moderators (they can warn the poster about it and eventually remove the excessive messages). But, I will think about auto-merge when the post messages are very short, then it may be handy there.

I've been adding surface stations in systems where I can. Good to know that the inhabited systems lacking orbital stations will be added in due course.

Artie"Possible duplicity account" means that user may have another account there, but may be also different person. "Duplicity account" means that user is almost surely having another account here. I will add some tooltips to it.
