Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieIt's a default thread. I can adjust that a little bit based on subscriptions and new posts present, I guess.
Yes please
Would be nice if it went to last opened or subscribed as you said.

The Inara API is enabled again, however not all apps may work and there is a minimal version required. At this moment, the EDMC, EDDiscovery, EDDLite, EDDI and EliteLogAgent were updated and should work (download their latest version, please). Other apps will be enabled as they release the updated version or confirm their existing version has no problem. The apps that are supposed to read the data via API aren't affected. I have disabled just the major apps that are known to update the CMDR profile data here. If you are using something obscure misusing the other app name or doing more than originally intended, it's your own risk then.

Unfortunately, this is one of those annoying suggestions where I haven't figured out a perfect way to actually implement it, but perhaps an ability to filter out the Visibility: Public missions from the squadrons-missions page would be a good start. I'd still have to remember to go look for them (just put it on my shortcut bar) but it'd make it more convenient. Even better would be being able to subscribe to mission alerts so it shows new, non-public missions with exclamation points just like the private messages, for example.

KissamiesHi Artie, could we perhaps figure out a way to make the non-public missions to other squadrons we are eligible to see more visible. The own squadron missions are visible enough in the squadron page and I am fine for not seeing public missions unless I specifically look for them. However, if one of our allies posts a mission I can see, I'd prefer not to miss it.

Seconded!

LeroyTheLurcherSo when I try and import data it just says download failed, no option to retry. I'm on ps4, it's always worked in the past but for the last week or so its not worked at all for me
Hello, please try to re-link your account, that should hopefully solve the problem (it seems like some null user is coming for your OAuth profile and it's some weirdness on their end).

Hmm... yes, maybe some filter may help. It's problematic a little bit (I was initially thinking to listing those right in the squadron missions, but as that may get out of hands very fast, I kept it with the rest of the (public) missions). Let's see...

Short messages like the Fleet Carrier announcements, visible on the right side where the 'my favorites' are. They could be used to remind squadron members of the policy/standing orders with specific systems. For example, "We don't want accidental expansion from here so keep the inf under 60%" or "We have a deal with X squadron not to take over this system". Things that the in-game squadron bookmarks are too clumbersome for.
It sounds like it might be too impractical in the terms of resources. If so, forget it. If not, I think it would be pretty neat.
