Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

BBQSAMICHNot to interested in market data or station data APIs. There's plenty of resources for that in the universe. However, Inara is tracking a lot of things that others aren't (location, credits, and ships for example). All of these things are available from the companion API data feed and would reduce the need for so much manual data entry. While I could hook into your current HTTP POST methods in some cases it does not work well (haven't finished a full dive into all the forms, so maybe this isn't the case).

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood your previous post - yes, that will be definitely handy and it's one of the reasons I have some plans for API. If there won't be official Frontier's API sooner (which probably won't).

As BBQSAMICH wrote - it needs your credentials to access, which Inara needs to provide there. From obvious reasons I do not want to go that way.

By far the friendliest and most helpful site I've used for any game in ages. Everyone very respectful even if on polar opposite sides of an issue. I've only seen one instance since I joined a few months ago where someone was trolling and using obscenities......and you know Artie shut that down ASAP. But even before he did that the community stayed cool and was respectful to the offender. Honestly, this site has so much info I rarely need to go anywhere else.

Yeah, for example, I played WoW for years and it was the third party sites similar to INARA and the addons that really took it to another level, beyond the trolling idiocy of ingame chat and Blizzard forums. I was thankful when with the release of Draenor they incorporated a great number of third party addons and other mechanisms but by then they killed the solo/small group player opting for the 25 man + arena and battlegrounds and I just figured, time to move on. Luckily, I found Elite and INARA.

wouldnt bother me . i use a seperate PC and have inara a glance upwards with KVM making it a button press for mouse + k/b
