Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hello , I imagine this has been covered many times sorry to bother you again but could I just confirm system updates on here need a player running edmc or other 3rd party app in order to be changed?

There isn't a way to update an entire faction in one go is there? Other than visiting each system?

When dealing with large factions checking the numbers is quite a headache.

Yeah, unfortunately, there is no way how to update an entire faction at once - there is no such output in the game journal or Frontier's cAPI, so it must be done per star system, one by one.

I always find it very impressive when large groups update their numbers like clockwork at certain times of day. I wondered if I was missing a trick.

ArtieHmmm... I can add some checkbox to the thread edit, like "Show in the menu" or so. That should do the trick.


And to the point, my problem is our list of Systems tabs, currently spilled out under "Private Discussions".

We  already have root level tabs for:

OVERVIEW
ROSTER
FLEET
DOCUMENTS
FACTION OVERVIEW
MISSIONS
LOGBOOKS
> SYSTEMS <
PRIVATE DISCUSSION
EDIT SQUADRON
OTHER SQUADRONS

If there was one for SYSTEMS that worked like the "Private Discussions" tab that would also work.

But that is probably the "more complicated" thing you referred to in your reply post.

As a result of the community drives to build these starports, there have been fluctuations on the trading market. The availability of several commodities has been reduced, resulting in increased prices and profit margins. The items affected include:

Bauxite

Building fabricators

Gallite

Power generators

Rutile

Thermal cooling units


Since they introduced a permanent supply/demand and price update after a CG (which is very welcome and acknowledges the CR inflation), suddenly a lot of market data became outdated and will remain so until every station on Inara that deals with these commodities gets fed updated pricing.

I was wondering if there is a better approach to this, which would also be useful as it's likely to happen again in the future. I'd gladly go out of my way to do a few updates (this is already how I complete the source and delivery trade missions, by looking at the oldest data for closer systems) but it would be very helpful:

- If we had some kind of different marker for markets which have commodity data previous to this change, such as a red font for the days ago updated time and a red question mark icon (for the market page) since those will be less reliable than usual as they use the older price ranges.
- A way to view which are the markets that haven't been updated for the longest (perhaps a new "report" for Inara's bulletin board?), as I assume the galaxy-wide tables for commodities are generated with prices/range in mind, not last update, so there are some holes for stations which will fade into price irrelevance. It also gives a fun little "exploration" activity for those interested.

I have a question about the gallery.

Do uploaded images drop off after some time? I was looking for a couple of screenshots I know I uploaded a while back for my logbook but I can't see them anymore. I also see gaps in my gallery and some pictures are now tagged as archive.

I couldn't find anywhere that described the gallery's functionality so I thought I'd ask.

Yeah, that complicate things a lot, so it will be better just to provide some option how to reduce the list than to just move the problem elsewhere.

Hello, yes, as mentioned at the image upload page, the images may go archived and removed after some time (usually a couple of months). It's made that way to save some space as there is a ton of images in the gallery. It's however not affecting those generally liked or used in the logbooks.
