Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I have Sell orders on my carrier all the time and it's been parked in the same system for a week. It has only shown up in the Best Exports list one day in the last week, for Void Opals. Is there something I need to do?

Hello, if you are selling/buying something else than Tritium and Modular terminals which are currently listed, there are the following options: Report to FDev a problem with their server API endpoint providing outdated data for your fleet carrier market (which is happening to some PS4 users for reasons unknown to me) and/or having your fleet carrier market updated via EDDN (which means somebody using the respective tool must dock on your carrier and open the market screen). The problem with outdated market information is outside of Inara, so unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. I have reported the issue to FDev already, but more people reporting the problem - more likely they will fix it.

Hi Artie, thanks for the quick response. I will update the ticket. Where do I find my carrier ID so I can add it to the ticket?

I'm new to this game and it's quite confusing that there are so many third party sites linked to it. I'm not sure how updates between the sites occur. I'm assuming all data originates from FDev game servers, after that... For example, I use EDSM, which apparently updates EDDN. Where does Inara get it's updates from, EDDN too?

From the list of API's on http://edcodex.info/?m=tools&entry=24, maybe EDDN is the main connector to FDev and all the other sites update from there?

You don't specifically need to identify your carrier there, Frontier very likely can take a look on your carrier based on the account reporting the issue. Yes, EDSM is sending data to EDDN too, so you should be alright with those updates. You will just need to update the market daily, as the best imports/exports have a limit on the information age here (if nobody else will do that meanwhile, by docking at your carrier).

BUG REPORT (or maybe just a misleading heading)

On the ship/equipment search page, when searching for multiple items, the heading/message "Search results for the nearest stations having all of the following ships/equipment:" is incorrect because the search results include stations having any of the selected ships/equipment. I'm not sure how the search was meant to work, so I don't know whether this is a bug or a misleading heading/message.

Thanks for the report! Yes, it's a bug (it should search for all the items as stated in the message), I will deploy the fix in a few hours.

Are there any more squadron diplomacy features planned?

I like the coalition system we already have, but I could imagine it'd be nice to show even more of what is going on in the diplomacy.

Being able to show who we consider our enemies would be an obvious one, but perhaps there is more...

There is "treaties" (though that can mean anything).

There is organizations encompassing several squadrons (groups of groups)

And there is probably more...

Right now coalitions can mean anything from an alliance between squadrons to just a friendly neighborhood.
By differentiating and giving more diplomatic options, there could be a lot more meaning given to Inara's existing features.

At the moment squadron Chief of Staff can only create a custom thread but can't edit them. I can make threads for our group but I can't put a rank restriction on them. I have to wait for the WC or Deputy WC to come around and edit the thread to add the restriction. Seems like something the 3rd highest rank in the squadron should be able to do.

I'd really like to see ship build export being compatible with Coriolis Shipyard
The Export function currently doesn't work - it says the ship name is missing and I can't save it.

It depends on the Coriolis guys. I think they actually have the SLEF format (Inara is using) implementation prepared, but haven't put it live yet. So once they will put that there, it should be no issue. You can try to ping them about that, too.
