Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

PseudoShooterHello
Are the awards (INARA badges) working properly? I recently moved a ton of passengers and trade for the rescues/CG missions and no awards. Maybe I haven't met the parameters yet?
 Thank you!

SmalooHi,
My pax score on my Inara Cmdr page is not going up from 4471 (sooo close to 5000). I've done a few pax trips and the number has not changed even after doing an update of data from the game. Any ideas please?
 Tx and o7

Hello, yes, it's working as expected. The number of passengers is taken from the in-game stats (passengers delivered value). Apparently, the rescued people are not counted towards this number by the game and that's also why it's not being reflected on the award. But by my personal view, I think it quite fair as those aren't regular passengers.

Tx Artie. Seems to be working now. BTW... love Inara.

Alright, thanks. My confusion lies in the fact that those numbers are still reflected in the award tally however. I've attached image links to show what I mean.

Before the rescue missions last week, I delivered a total of 65 passengers (tourists). Now, the award says I have 1937 passengers delivered. If the rescue passengers aren't being counted, they are still showing up on the award total.

I also have 34,000 tons of trading but no award as yet so I suspect I have not made the requirements for first tier yet?

Are the requirements for each award posted anywhere (so we can set goals for achieving them) ?

Thanks again Artie! I love INARA.

Ah, wait, so the rescues are counted in? I thought they are not and I misunderstood the problem. Yes, the award is granted once the goal(s) in the award tooltip is reached, so with 5,000 passengers transported and 100,000 commodities traded, you will get first tiers of those awards. The new requirements for the next tier will appear in the tooltip again.

Hi Artie,

A suggestion for one more addition to the excellent new 'nearest inhabited systems', if you think you can fit one more data point to it: the Power affiliation. I try to aim our expansions away from Powers that are incompatible to our faction type, and I imagine many others do the same. Being able to see those right away from the list would be helpful.

ok so i have a question - why does inara show my carrier's buy prices for my black market instead of for commodoties market?

Hello, yes, I will try to put it in at least for wider resolution, there isn't much space.

Antoneeok so i have a question - why does inara show my carrier's buy prices for my black market instead of for commodoties market?

Excellent! Thanks to Judge Raven's testing I've got a suspicion that black markets may screw FCs market data provided by Frontier and I thought it's affecting just PS4 users. But how it seems, it affects completely all users. Please add your note to the bug report here: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/18892 and mention that the problem is affecting PC fleet carriers, too.

Until Frontier will fix that, the only known workaround is to suspend black market or to update market via EDDN same as regular stations.

I noticed the small blue dot with the expansion pending text.

Please dont forget in BGS expansion starts at 75.01%, and its a faction state, not a system state (its the only faction state currently ingame). Expansion can be started from only 1 system of a faction at once. Duration is 6 days pending (with 1 invisible), 7 active and 1 recovery. Expansion will go to the nearest system in a 40x40x40 ly cube (not a 20 ly distance), whats not full with factions (full = 7). Priority on those systems where the expansion maker system was not retreated before. If no such system, then the expansion try to target a system, where was a retreat of the expansion starter faction before. Then if all full nearby, it will try to make an "Invasion": searching for a non-native faction to make a conflict (war or election), as a 8. faction after entering. After the conflict the loser faction will leave (to have only 7 factions in the system again). This faction will give all of its remaining assets, outposts, installations, planetaries to the control faction (not for the winner - the winner got only that one which was signed in the conflict). At invasions the priority is on the lowest influence level non-native faction nearby. If all the above described fails, then expansion will restart with an extended expansion cube range with the same rules. Expansion cube working with Pythagoras rule, not just with plain distances from the starting system.

Yes, the blue dot is displayed only when the Expansion state is present (pending) and when the influence is above 60% (I am aware the 75% condition for triggering the expansion, but the problem is that sometimes the influence may drop due other actions and I want to give some tolerance there. As the Expansion is faction-wide state (being reported for all systems the faction is in) it's the only way to hint from which star system it was likely triggered. Speaking of the blue dots for the faction. The blue dots for the expansion hints just a low faction number in the star systems. As I am thinking about it, I probably should remove it completely as the number of factions displayed there is sufficient (as it lists just the star systems within the cube now and the blue dot was reflecting that too, before the latest changes). Currently is the only 20Ly cube displayed as in most cases it's sufficient. With 40Ly cube the list goes to be quite large and it's an overkill a little bit.

You are already referencing all systems within 20ly on any of the 3 axis, which *is* a 40ly cube. Don't forget the system is at the centre of that cube.

Ah, yes, by "20Ly cube" I mean a distance of 20Ly from the selected star system in any of the XYZ axis (technically 40x40x40Ly cube). But as far as I know, the expansions can go further than that when any other options depleted within the default range (now I am not actually sure if it was 30 or 40Ly "cube" I referenced above) and those star systems are not listed.

o7 commander, the blue dot in the rightmost influence column ofc only shows the (pending) expansion state of the faction. All we BGS planners know, that this is a faction wide state and so Inara cannot only show it for the system which is actually expanding. But it helps if you are looking for possible competing expansions or for possible expansions into one of your factions systems. As a hint this blue dot is only shown if the system is above 60% and not on all systems controlled by the expanding faction.

As far as I know it is 5 days pending, 7 active and 2 cooldown, but that's not an issue of Inara. And btw: it seems that this invisible day bug is fixed, at least with last pending expansion I observed closely (because involved in the BGS planning) there was no invisble day, it went to pending expansion correctly on the day it reached more than 75%.
