Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Awesome! Out of curiosity, is Inara data stored in a DB or is it all just a live pull with temporary data?
Is there something we can do to help manifest this? Or to help with accuracy?
In the database, there is no live pull for stuff like "tell me the missions certain commander did in the last X days". So it needs to be extracted from the journals to some more usable form.

Is there a time frame?
I have the top liked image and its also the most recent yet its not one of the two Images shown when you view the system info.

The profile image of me is the one I am talking about.
No time frame, the age and likes are used just for sorting (so those more recent, more liked get the precedence). I forgot - certain categories like portraits are not listed there, too.
Thing is my image is on the list of images for that system, it has 4 more likes than all other images for the system and is also the Newest image for the system.
Someone did edit my image to be a portrait (maybe you ?) but I reset it back to a screenshot as its a screenshot of the codex image to see if it would become the top listed.
It still isnt the top listed even when it meets all the critiria.
In fact its showing the images by oldest first. as if its reading the list from right to left.
Examples :-
When you click to see all images for the system they are listed as newest on the left to oldest on the right.
On the system pages it shows two images. The oldest is first and the second oldest is the one below that. All others are hidden in the click for more images button.
Im fine if you dont want me to use the Image of my commander for a system image.
But it would be nice if the order images were used was as stated. So I can attempt to get a more suitable Image for our HQ system.

ArtieYes, I did, because it belongs to the portraits category. Also these images are intended to represent the star system, its stations, vistas, etc. not some personal images so it's best to set it as some "Vista" category (it has also some priority), if it's at least partially a vista and not just a regular screenshot.

next, click on "edit ship" on the screen that appears after clicking on "details"
then scroll to the bottom of the page on that screen and click on "remove ship"
That should take care of it.

afaik, it depends on the number of "Shiny" clicks. Have you asked your squadron members to read them & click?

But first, as my initial contribution to this thread, allow me to say that I'm a Day 1 Elite Dangerous player but play on-and-off, so I have only gotten to fully appreciate the miraculous labor of love that is inara.cz. I have since used this site extensively, especially to manage my engineering projects and resource allocations, as well as to locate the best prices for ship modules. All I can say is: Good job to the admins, mods, and contributors to this site! You guys rock!
Now, I've only recently decided to build an anti-Thargoid (I don't want to call it anti-xeno as not all aliens are bad I'm sure) ship and have chosen the Alliance Challenger as my platform. I know the Chieftain or Krait Mk. II are considered the best anti-Thargoid ships, but the Challenger is noted to perform similarly to the Chieftain when it comes to Thargoid combat, and I'm a sucker for trying to make underdog ships work. However, in using inara.cz's outfitting tool, I noticed that there is an error in the armor module prices for the Alliance Chieftain, Alliance Challenger, and Alliance Crusader: Each armor type is priced identically for each ship. For example, Military-Grade Composite is priced 15,307,134 credits for the Chieftain, 15,307,134 credits for the Challenger, and 15,307,134 credits for the Crusader. From what I know, that price is only correct for the Chieftain, but is repeated (and thus wrong) in the Challenger and Crusader.
This error has led me to miscalculate the total price -- and thus, rebuy cost -- of my intended Challenger build. From what I can tell, the Challenger's Military-Grade Composite should be 27,425,039 credits without discounts.
Apparently, this pricing is taken from or sourced to an API common to inara.cz, coriolis.io, and edsy.org -- possibly some others as well -- as all these sites show the same erroneous pricing for the Challenger and Crusader.
Anyone know how we can correct this? Is inara.cz the source of this information and thus can be corrected via this site? If inara.cz also just gets that information through a third party source via an API, is there a way we can trace the source and inform the relevant party of this correction? I'm sure it would help other players who, like me, might also enjoy building ships that aren't the most popular.
