Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

i have problem with inviting ppl to Private group, cannot join either. Error Unable to complete Request.

Hmmm... that's odd. I can compare it to your journals, but to check first - in the achievements logs, does the record corresponds to your ship buy/sells or there are some missing? Which ships were sold but are still present? For the excessive ships, I recommend to delete those manually via edit (deleting them all/resetting the profile will mean a lot of more work for you with getting the loadouts back and you will lose the other data, too). Alternatively, you can try to wait as Inara is doing full shipyard sync from time to time, to ensure everything fits.

then the second resource then it goes back to the first resource then the second AGAIN
Then on to the third.. it's just a waste of time.

Alright, I will take a look what was going on, because I find quite suspicious that those ships weren't removed in such simple operation, so I am curious what happened exactly in the journal.

Ok, no problem. Is there a time limit on accounts? Like, if we dont log into a alt account for "X" amount of days, will it get deleted? If so, how many days is it? Just so i know to keep tabs on my alt
One last thing Artie, do you get time to play ED with what you do on Inara?
Nope, no limit. Unless you remove it on your own via Settings, it will stay indefinitely. Not much time to play Elite, I admit, but working on Inara is still fun so no complaints.

Some systems I'm looking up don't have updated data on Inara for them for several weeks, or even months in some cases. What is it that causes the update of system data and faction representation aside from the daily tick? Does someone registered on Inara have to do something in a system to trigger an Inara update of that data?
Also... my commander profile continually gets my credits wrong. I don't have a fleet carrier.

Hello, it depends on the updates players are making. As most of the data (star systems, markets, etc.) are updated through shared EDDN network, just things that are sent there are being updated. The stuff is typically updated by players running EDMC, EDDiscovery, EDDI and similar tools, sending the data to EDDN.
About the credits - do you can specify what exactly is wrong, please?

Hello, it's a problem on Frontier's end and unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. I have adjusted your import date slightly to skip the problematic day, please try again.

It was just yesterday, I had an automatic update during the day which upped my credits to 300m+ I did a few missions a few hours later, and then did a manual check-in, and the credits dropped back down to 200m+
I deleted the update entry and retried, and it continued doing the same.
Eventually I just manually entered the credit values to overrule it, and didn't update my data.

It looks like I'm missing at least 5 pictures in the "Gallery" -> "Just my stuff".
However when I insert the URL of the individual pictures, they are still online and available.

Yes, as mentioned on the gallery image add page, the older images can be archived and removed over time (typically those with a low number of "likes"), except those used in the logbook entries. As there is a ton of images in the galleries, some pruning is necessary.
