Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieActually, I am just working on various market improvements I would like to have in the next Inara update and exactly this filter is a thing I am still not sure about. It's obviously very easy to do, but I am afraid of a state where everybody will just turn them off permanently and carrier owners will have troubles with their markets, even with high supplies/demands, good prices and a stable location. Which may harm not even the carrier owners, but also other commanders missing nice trade opportunities. Do you consider a similar filter as is on the commodity pages as a suitable solution?

-------------------------
By the way, can please carrier owners add their (short is good enough) report to this long-standing problem with Frontier's server market updates (overridden by black market data), please? This way Frontier can acknowledge the problem "officially" (there is just a few extra reports needed), although they should know about it already. Thanks.

Thanks for thinking through this, Artie.

The filter on the Commodity page is great, but I'd love for it to be "sticky" - so that if would retain the last filter settings I used. When I go to a different market and click through a different commodity, I would love for the filters to be in the state that I last had them previously. Thinking on this a bit, I agree with you - having the filters be in my user settings might make me forget all about them, and I would miss out. But having the filters there on the results page (but toggled the way I left them) would help me keep in mind that, oh, carriers and outposts do exist and I should took at those.

Hello Gepard of Poland.

It seems that some of the prices after the Balance pass updates made it so that the OLD prices listed on some carriers could not exist anymore.

What used to happen was that carrier owners who bought at the highest price of 1000% above galactic average. would loose millions or billions of credits because of Fdevs changes.

So what Fdev seem to have done is make it so if the price is Impossible EG: >1000% OF THE NEW Gal Average , then the carrier will reject the sale, until such a time as the owner resets the price to <=1000% OF THE NEW Gal Average.

Thats what I think is happening.

Then again I could be wrong ?

Hello!
Well its can be this because i try sold in carriers with price between 300-500% above galactic average. I saw that community even price was exactly 300% of galactic average so maybe this is the limit.

[quote=GepardPL]About Carriers... i stop using them too because 75% or even more i can't sell stuff in this carrier
There is HIGH Demand of goods what i have, and Carrier have Cargo space but i still can't sell. I'm getting a sound like everything works but nothing change and i still have full cargo in my ship .
Is there any way to check this before I get to this carrier?

Only if the price is suspiciously high as Bl1p mentioned (for Painite, for example). With the last price change of some mined commodities the carriers may be still demanding them for the original prices, but the game doesn't allow to actually sell the stuff. But I don't see much of that carriers, do you have some specific examples where and what you was trying to sell as that 75% of the carriers you mention seems to be very high?

Not really, but it can be that thing, because i fly over carriers what support only highest prices. 300-500% above Galactic average.

And about missing "ships" changes, i needed to remove my ship manually from Inara (Cobra MK III) when I sold it to get money via Insurance game page (after lost my T9). but i think this is one of the "strange" ways to make a account change and its not sync up.

Thank you for your feedback and work!

BL1PI have a question, not sure if this is the correct place to ask... so sorry if not

How do you get Screenshots to appear on the systems gallery section ?
Specifically the two "Gallery Picks" rather than the "see other images" section.

thanks,
BL1P.

It's based on the image age and a number of likes (the more recent and more liked image has a precedence). Of course, the images also need to have a location properly set.

Yeah, I have moved the market settings into the search form, so it will be always there, but I am still not sure about the "permanent" setting there (because it will have similar results and may be turned off all the time). But let's see...

Is there a way we could start tracking INF history by user for Squadrons?
16 Dec 2020, 2:01am
I just got the pre-order Alpha ED Odyssey from Steam (have ED Horizons installed for since few months ago) and keeps showing "downloading" but never ends, no other commands I can do.

Is anyone having the same problem or know what that means? I know it will be playable only next year but they said about the special suit, soundtrack, etc.....is my option here just wait?

By INF you mean influence? and yes Inara already does that at the squad level. You just have to be willing to look at your own members,

My understanding is that it’s a pre-order and will only be available to download once released. It figures the special suit, soundtrack etc won’t be available until then either. The suit would require a working Odyssey installation to equip and the soundtrack will most likely be kept back until the final reveal.

* Disclaimer: Only my best guess*

Thank a lot for the reply! I did what Frontier asked to do but didn't work so, well, let's wait! Great video btw, thanks so much!

I'm suggesting that on the squadron page, or even the user's page, there's a history, a line graph would even be great, of how much Influence someone obtains each day/month etc.
What we have now is a static accounting, and should the influence in a region fall, it doesn't show a history of that users efforts to gain influence.

At present the only way to do this would be to look at each and every single mission individually. And that would be absurd.

Is there a time frame?
I have the top liked image and its also the most recent yet its not one of the two Images shown when you view the system info.
This is the system :-

The profile image of me is the one I am talking about.

No time frame, the age and likes are used just for sorting (so those more recent, more liked get the precedence). I forgot - certain categories like portraits are not listed there, too.

I see. I think that I have something in that regard on the list already, but as currently journals may odd values for the faction influences (sometimes not corresponding to what is seen in the game), I was not giving it a priority. But certainly on the list.

Awesome!  Out of curiosity, is Inara data stored in a DB or is it all just a live pull with temporary data?
Is there something we can do to help manifest this?   Or to help with accuracy?

Can we soon add our own carrier image to the fleet folder?

Well sadly there is no other way, unless you use like Discord and spread sheets and have your members report on discord.
