Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

It would be nice to be able to edit/specify the date of a logbook entry. I'm totally behind with mine, but creating new entries forces the date to "today".

in the history log section
The Actions history page only shows the joining/leaving of commanders, the promotion/demotion of commanders and the creation/disbanding of flights and divisions... it does not show movement of Commanders in and out of flights nor the assigning of flights to divisions.
also
there is a disparity in the orders that members join between the history log (ordered by time of join?) and the right hand side pannel of applications accepted (ordered by application time?).
as the right hand pannel only shows new members (below the pending apps) , it is easyer to use as a ''friend add'' list.

BurwellianIs there a way to export Netlogs at all? I've reinstalled the game a few times, losing logs on my PC, and I was using Inara before I used ED Discovery or EDSM, so Inara has my logs from Heart & Soul, etc from way back which I don't have elsewhere :/ I'd like to take the logs from here and add them to EDSM if possible.
As Mila said, it's unfortunately not possible to generate back source netlogs from parsed data. As even single netlog file can be in size of dozens of megabytes, I am not storing them in source format here...

No search in discussion planned so far. Data import from where exactly, if do you have something specific on your mind? There is not possible to get official game data easily a direct way, unfortunately.

It's possible to add there, but I am not sure if it is so good idea. When date postponed to past, it will also cause that new logbook entry will be further in the list and readers may miss it completely.

It's easy to add flights/squadron assignments to the wing history, but it can mess the history a lot. For now I rather prefer to keep it as is with just more important events, but I will add it there when some filters and/or paging added to the wing history.
The disparity of history log and join requests is that in the history log there is date of member membership approval/rejection, when they joined the wing or were rejected. In the right bar is the list ordered by approval state and then by a request date. I will add the date of request/approval there to make it inline with the wing history eventually.

I have made that very suggestion on the new feedback thread about PMFs. Frontier already plan to make a public list of PMFs, I have suggested they add HQs. Inara has the opportunity to take that a little further, because it could encompass groups who don't necessarily back particular factions, but do have bases of operations.

I appreciate that.. but surely it's up to the Writer to take that into account if they decide to edit the date.. People who "follow" a particular logbook will still see the entries.
Alternatively have the "Logbook Date" (editable) as well as a "First Published" date (non-editable). The logbook entries list could then be sorted by the "First Published" date which ensures they are visible when first published irrespective of the Logbook entry date.

Yes, it is something I am aiming with the minor factions list, too. It won't be probably there in the next update, but shortly after when the player factions will be properly marked (eventually also the stations/system they are holding).
Edit: Ah, it seems that Frontier will be publishing the list on minor factions soon, regarding the link Matzov posted. So it will make things easier, we will see...

Hmmm.... yes, that can be also option. Or, you can solve it by establishing your own format in logbook title, for example: "Record #33 (3302-01-15)", it seems some folks here are using this convention.
