Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

am i understanding this correctly ?
the planned search feature will meen all inara members , including those who are not in the same wing or my friends list , will be able to read my logs with no option for members to restrict this feature ?

ArtieCorrect, it's the same as it is now, you can search for members in CMDR's Log>Friends and favorites actually. But it is a little bit hidden, so it will be pushed more to front. Also, as there is logbook archive and latest logbooks on the frontpage, anybody can read any logbook and these are clearly visible (unless set as private or drafts, of course). In other words - functionality doesn't differ from the current one, it's the very same. It will be just reorganized and brought together with star, station, wing, etc. search.
But, is there any particular reason why to limit it?

ELRinleyShouldn't there be an option to set current location via flight logs? Also, flight log multi-upload...
There is possible to upload multiple logs at once, I am not sure about location auto-update, as there can be logs uploaded also retrospectively and it can change your actual newest) location.

put that way i can see i was mistaken . the restriction is already there on the CMDR-logs , where the search referances the members . TY for the detailed clarification .

Clarification:
When loading Market at SYSTEM "Ross 733", station "Forest Terminal" is greyed out & not selectable.
When loading Market at STATION "Forest Terminal [Ross 733]", there is no problem.

I think there's an article somewhere online about using USB to connect the XBox to a PC as an "external drive"...
(OR, if you're able to do it carefully, remove the drive from the XBox and connect as USB external HD.. inconvenient tho)
It's NOT an Elite article, but if you know how to search the folder trees, you might be able to find a log file you can use.
Dunno.. this is a shot in the dark. See what you can find online re XBox USB hookup to PC..... Good luck.
