Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

MeoiswaHaving a better search functions for the Commander's > Fleet And Modules > All Modules page would be very handy:
- Text input for fuzzy search for all columns (Example: Searching for "shield gen 4" to find all shield generators size 4, regardless of class [A/B/C/D/E] or variety [regular/prismatic/bi-weave])
- Dropdown filter for category of module: Hardpoints, Optional, Core, Internals (Example: Searching for any engineered weapon to strip from an old ship to fit into a new one)
No promises yet, but adding that to the list. Thanks for the ideas.
Aunty SledgeI've recently dipped my toe into Thargoid combat, and the Thargoid War section is great.
Once a system has been selected, it would be really helpful if the "Commanders in the fight" table could be sorted in the same way as the "Recent battle reports" so I can track my progress and work towards my goal of "war hero" status.
update: I have just realised that the "Your statistics" section includes "Selected conflict (recent)" which gives me enough to compare myself against the leaders. So, whilst the table sorting would still be nice I can work without it if it's tricky.
On a side note. Are the rescue stats working? I picked up some people and sold them to the local Search and Rescue, does that not count?
It's actually simpler - the war hero is selected by the score listed in that table (and are already sorted by it, so you don't exactly need to compare the kills, just compare the score and contribute to the fight (whilst Cyclops will contribute 10 more than Scout, up to 75 more (Hydra) than Scout).

Just for a reference (it was solved via PM) for other commanders having a similar problem - ensure you are connecting a correct account and you are not auto-logged during the process under the incorrect one. You may want to logout on the PSN/XBL site first, to be sure it will ask for a login during the linking process.

I am not sure what you wanted to achieve or if it was some browser/plugin glitch, but refreshing your profile page dozen times per second and doing that continually until detected as possible script/scraper and blocked isn't exactly the best idea.

ArtieBeardedHonusIs there a way to view your Codex discoveries on Inara? I'd like to review what I have found and what I have yet to find while I am away from my Xbox. Inara tracks literally everything, but I can't find a section that deals specifically with Codex discoveries. Thanks.
Unfortunately not. There are no data for it in the journals or cAPI profile that can be imported.
Ok. I found that EDSM tracks the Codex for my Xbox profile. I was just hoping that the same would be possible with Inara.

Aunty SledgeIt's a minor thing, but the "Credits and assets" graph in the Commander's Overview page doesn't seem to base-line at zero. This results in a very odd looking graph.
Ah, yes, I will adjust that in the update this week.
K L Barretti noticed over the last few days in the squadron overview the % of missions you do for your squadron has dropped to 0 for all players so is Inara no longer recording how many missions you do for you squadron ? im talking about (faction overview) (member activity)
It still does. But it seems that many of your members weren't in the game for longer than the last 30 days (which is a range the squadron activity overview is displayed), which seems to be a cause of this?

ArtieAs I mentioned earlier, it's just for the recent items added to the codex, there is unfortunately no event for the entire codex. So, for example, if you have discovered something a month ago and it was not imported back then, it won't appear in any subsequent import and thus the entire codex will be incomplete. Which sucks for a thing like this.

There are 2 reasons why this could happen that I'm aware of.
1. You misread a letter/number. Try swapping a 0 for an O or similar things if that appears in the system name.
2. The system genuinely doesn't show up in third parties. I have no idea why this issue exists or where exactly Inara pulls that data from. But other sites and the Fuel Rats IRC run into it too so if the above doesn't help just try looking for a system next door if possible. (this mainly helps if you're trying to look for something nearby or use a route plotting tool)

I copied the system name over from EDSM, but even typing just a part of the system name, it won't show up in the drop down selection and Inara also won't update my current location like it usually does. I'm bouncing around in deep space, so maybe it isn't in Inara. I'd like to know how to add it and it's planetary information.
