Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

SakashiroThe calculated age on biography pages is off by two years.
Ah, right, I completely forgot one consequence of the change. I will fix it ASAP, thanks for reporting it.
Edit: Fixed.

Thank you for the report and the details. It actually appears to be correct - as the credits are counted towards the current assets (in the game so also on Inara), redeeming combat bonds will also affect current assets (there may be just some discrepancy in how it's being reported in the transactions overview as it takes UTC days/time range and not the local timezone days/time range and I have no good solution for that yet).
The personal equipment is also calculated towards overall assets and especially higher grades and engineered equipment can be absurdly valuable/expensive. No idea why Frontier made their value so high, but those are inflating your current assets by billions mentioned (you can also check that in the game's Codex).
Okay, I guess I am fundamentally misunderstanding something then. I went to the outfitter and 'valued' all of my personal equipment by seeing how much I could sell it all for. I came up with a total of a little over 6.25 million if I sold it all. To my mind value = the amount of money I can sell something for. Is something else being calculated here?

It's an oddity of the game. It counts the personal equipment towards the assets by their heavily inflated buying value. I think G2/G3 mildly engineered weapon/suit cost from the station vendor is something around 150 millions (if I recall correctly) and a rough value estimate of fully engineered G5 weapon/suit is in hundreds of millions credits. It's further confused by a fact than when you buy a weapon/suit from the vendor, it won't get counted towards the assets but once you start to engineer it, it will.
Yes, it's counter-intuitive and the personal equipment values/costs makes no sense at all. But that's how it currently is in the game.

Zero0magiCSnappie24Hi. Does anyone here have a problem in their system that the server tick didn't happen? I've done many inf missions in Orisini for our faction, but after almost 2 days the minor faction percentages are all exactly the same.
I am on xbox and i use edsm.net to upload data, you can try it for yourself maybe it will help out a bit.
This is not what I meant. The server tick did not happen on Saturday, but Sunday they had two ticks and noa everythingis fine.

In which case you are on the wrong forum, you need to raise the issue with the FDev forums, this page is for bugs relating to Inara, not the game itself.

Thanks. This was not obvious when just looking at the title

Any ideas?

Dezik TsiganIs there any way to simply count only the 'resale' value of the assets rather than the crazy/nutso valuation that they are attributing to them? That would be a much more meaningful number to me.
No simple and reliable way, I am afraid (and in many cases, no way at all). The best solution is to urge Frontier to bring personal equipment values more in line to the game reality, so that a single pistol won't be more valuable than an engineered big ship.

We get a Squadron Notification when a member applies, but not when a member leaves. I think it should happen.
In my opinion, this is as important an event and a notification would be much appreciated. I'm sure we're not the only ones who want to strip users of their privileges when it happens.
Thanks!

One of the common tactics in BGS is to perform negative trading (selling at a loss) Is there a way to find the worst possible trades for a given station?

Not at the moment and no plans for that. It should be however relatively easy to find something by utilizing current outputs - pick the best exported commodity or commodities in the given station (which have below average prices) and then buy this commodity anywhere for the regular prices. It may not be the "best" loss, but however still quite a loss.
Cluster FoxQuick request about one aspect that might be overlooked, since it occurs less often.

Ah, that may be useful indeed. Currently, there is possible to see any dropouts in the squadron's actions history, just the notifications are not there, but I will add that onto todo list.

My fleet carrier is listed twice. A false listing is shown at my STAR location, Not Real FC. The real one shows my commodities market, etc. Real FC . My FC will not show up in the STAR system I need to be in, when I'm there. STAR system .
I have jumped to other systems with Inara showing the new system the real FC has jumped to. When I jump back to the STAR system, Inara shows the last system I was in and won't update the new system. I have imprted data, logged off/on, reset my commander, decommisioned/recommissioned my FC, jumped my ship to another system and back to land on the FC trying all the previous things again. I have another FC/Cmdr there, Space Oddity, with Maj Thom. I have logged in to Maj Thom and landed on the FC and then updating/importing data, logging in/out of Inara, etc. No luck. The Fake fleet carrier has the same carrier id as my real FC, which is what I believe is causing Inara to not allow it to register it's location when it is in Glufoa BE-R c18-1.
The main issue with this is the system is a STAR system where other FCs will stop for fuel. When they look at the system, they see the fake FC with no tritium when the real one has 20000 tons, is in the system but not listed as such.
Thank you,
Jimi Drix

I think this might have been caused by re-logging a whole bunch to farm power regulators? Though I don't know for sure.
Edit: Looks like it's fixed now. Thanks for that!
