Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

SmalooHi Artie. Whenever I change most of the role descriptors on my fleet, it does not stick and seems to revert back to 'Multipurpose'. I make sure to hit the save button each time but the next day... poof! Back to Multipurpose. Any ideas? Tx and keep up the great work. Hope you've enjoyed some of my Colonia pictures... tx for the medal ribbon!
Hello, it was set by EDDI via Inara API updates and it overrides the role set on Inara, so you may need to change it there.

So change it in EDDI or actually in-game? Not even sure where those descriptions are in either... thought I could only set them up in here. Some of them stick and other change back. Just altered them again to test it. Tx for coming back so fast.
Only seems like yesterday I started playing E:D but it was late May last year! Triple Elite seemed sooo far away!

Great site! Wouldn't play Elite without it.
I have a feature request if it's possible.
Under "Galaxy" and then "Rankings & Statistic" and then "CQC Rankings", would it be possible for the rankings to jump to your own position in the rankings, rather than just start at the top of the rankings, i.e. the top 75 starting at Rank #1?
Looking for something like the "Overall Rankings", which does exactly that.
Hopefully something like that is doable.

If you click on "Commander" you get your profile overview, in the right column are your ranks, if you click on Inara and CQC rank buttons you get taken to your position in those tables.

On 2/26 I ranked to "MOSTLY HARMLESS" in CQC (don't laugh....you have to start somewhere). I would expect to find myself near the bottom of page 143 in the CQC Rankings, but can't find myself anywhere.
I suspect it might be user error on my part....perhaps I don't have a setting set somewhere?
Also, other CMDRs have there positions in the CQC Rankings show up below a nifty little CQC Logo on the Ranks and Awards page. I don't have that. (see screen shot below)
Perhaps, I just haven't advanced far enough in CQC?
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Apparently I have to psot here for a feature request
So, i'm a fairly new commander, just a couple of months. I've unlocked engineers, got some ships, and have like 5 or 6 builds in coriolis that i'd like to build next.
I've manually added the engineering blueprint of every module of 5 ships to my inara crafting list.
you can imagine i've got 50+ blueprints in that long, long list.
I can't grind all of them at the same time, so i'd like to disable some blueprints for the 'missing cargo'-thingy. More specific:
I'd like to order my blueprints on a 'per-ship'-basis, and enable and disable them on a per-ship-basis.
For example,
have a 'add crafting list' above the the orange buttons 'add blueprint' and 'add synthesis' etc;
pop a quick window to name the list.
Have the list appear above the the 'blueprint - synthesis - tech broker'-tabs.
Then when i create list called 'mining python' and list 'anaconda explorer', i can select the list i want to edit on top.
When a list is selected, i can add blueprints, synthesis and tech to that list.
Somewhere have a button to toggle 'enable list'/'disable list', to have the list not appear in the missing-components-calculations, without having to either delete blueprints or set blueprints-number-of-repetitions to zero.

You just need to do the Frontier Data update, it auto-runs every couple of hours.

You had your CQC ladder presence disabled (settings at the top right corner of the rankings page), so I just enabled it for you. Just for the future reference it can be adjusted there...

Thanks for the idea! I am already planning to add a ship option to the blueprints (just no ETA yet), which should help with organizing the crafting lists. But good call with disabling stuff - I will think about that, but instead of disabling I will probably add additional filters (but let's see).

ArtieIn EDDI, it overrides the role name on Inara by its own setting (so either it can be set in EDDI or disabled there, I don't know). The role is just for you, how you shortly define the ship's purpose (and doesn't affect anything otherwise). It's an Inara thing only, but can be set via API, too (as EDDI does).
Tx Artie. I'll play around for it but would never have thought of that answer by myself. I wish FDev would pay you millions to include Inara into E:D Odyssey as a DLC!

Ferox WorgenHIP 27986 isn't updating the faction/station information. Last update was 2/15 and my squadron has been in the system for the last week.
It only updates if someone with a PC who is running ED:MC or a similar tool updates the servers. It's crowd sourced data. As an Xbox squadron you aren't collecting and sharing the data.
What you need to do is be really nice to to a PC player and see if they'll do a fly-by for you.

Ilikepizza1275I just have a quick suggestion. I think it would be nice to add the new tech broker unlocks for the missile rack and FSD to the list of tech broker unlocks so we could add them and see what materials we still would need to collect. Thanks!
I will probably take a look on that later this week. Just to clarify, as I am not very sure about final state from the goals descriptions - is it unlocked there for everybody or just (75%+) goal participants? Is it there temporarily or permanently?

Yes, no EDDN data came in for about a week, thus no updates were made (you can update it via tools like EDMC, EDDiscovery, etc. or just make manual edits where possible). I would however like to do some improvements about that next week, taking some data directly from the journals (and also feeding the EDDN this way, for other 3rd party tools).

The CG items are and will be indefinitely available for everybody at human tech brokers. The base material costs are given in the CG descriptions. The FSD can still be obtained at a discount for a little over one week.
