Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Jr250Adding a "donate" button wouldn't be out of order, either.

... if that is what you were looking for.

Vasil VasilescuArtie As there is no general list of ground CZs in the journal (and the information about the intensity/ground CZ may be present only when somebody is actually in there), it's not very possible. But you can take a look at this search for example and pick a star system with many conflicts present - there is a good chance some of them will be of a high intensity.
That is pretty much what I do, only I also visit Frontline in that system to find which installations are high intensity. I don't sign up for a conflict at Frontline, I only use them to determine where I am going to fight.
That is my current method as well. In fact, I was on my 5th system check yesterday when I wrote the question. I eventually found a High Int CZ, but it took about an hour (as luck would have it).
In any case, I appreciate the replies from each of you; I just hoped there was a better way. It's unfortunate that nothing is catalogued about the ground CZ intensity. (I didn't even find anything in the journal while checking Frontline.)
Thanks again!

AHPlease add an option to ignore Stronghold Carriers when planning trade/sell/buy stuff.
Thanks.
More, if Inara knows the pledge of the commander, it would be great to automatically include them (and exclude other powers').

I spent today doing about a dozen or more high intensity ground CZs at two different settlements. (Same factions at each and I'd switch back and forth for who I was fighting for.) Even so, my Inara rank numbers haven't increased; although my in-game Merc rank % has. (I started today at 15% and am now at 55%)
However, these numbers did not change on Inara:
Progress:
Surface conflicts won: 288/500
High intensity surface conflicts won: 148/250
Surface settlements assaulted/defended: 25/25
Is that lack of change indicating a bug? Or is something else used in calculations than what I've described above?

Edit: Keeping the initial text here, but hiding it under a spoiler tag because I found a fix. I forced an import of my game data. Odd that the percentage updated but the other parts did not. Still, the conflicts numbers both updated with today's numbers. I'm still curious what's considered a conflict. Is it each individual win/loss or does it need to be a different settlement/match-up each time?

I will take a look at that.
DragicAny way to find tourist beacons through Inara?
Not at the moment, I have some rough data collected (it needs clean up for the localized beacon names), but maybe I will finally process it one day.
IndyHey, Artie. Somewhat related to my earlier question about ground CZs: How is the Inara Merc rank calculated?
Hello, it's based on the game stats and as the stats are written into the journal usually just at the game session start then - yes, relogging into the game menu and back to the game may be needed to have the latest numbers in the journal. The conflicts won should be straightforward (at least I am not aware any problem with the game tracking it), only the settlements assaulted/defended are calculated just once per CZ for the actual minor faction's conflict state (and the numbers are increased in the stats only once such state ends (the war is concluded)).
RythillianHeya, I know questions regarding the inara ranking inner workings is usually not explained/answered (so that folks don't try to game the system), but I was curious if player kills cause you to lose points in the ranking? Been doing a lot of shootin with the new power play and noticed my rankings going down around the same time as player kills, as in almost exactly at the same time. Is this just coincidence or is there some sort of deterrence in place to reprimand ganking n such.
Hello, as briefly mentioned on the rankings page, only the pilot's rank progress (except CQC) and Inara medals progress (except Xenohunter and Decorated hero) are contributing to the score. Killing other players may bring some slight increase (through bounty vouchers if there were any, similarly to NPC kills), but certainly not decrease as it has no effect.
The score should never go down, only up, but the rankings position may certainly change in both directions as it depends on the score of other commanders.

My Thargoid War statistics say I have not killed any scouts, interceptors, etc but I have killed hundreds and hundreds!
The personal log shows "Participated in community goal: Defend Shinrarta Dezhra Against Thargoid Invasion" where I ended up top 25%.
I should have my data coming in through ED Market Connector and I just linked my data through Frontier services... Any ideas?
Thanks!

In the Commanders -> Crafting list if I add a suit to the list in personal equipment and all I add is updating the suit from grade 3 to grade 3 it shows I need components to do this. It looks like it is picking the grade 2 to grade 3 components. You also cannot pick grade 5 to grade 5.
If you have a suit of a given grade and want to see what components are needed for just adding the modification you will get the suit upgrade components also.

Hello, it's possible if the kills weren't recent or were recent, but you didn't import your game data via "Import game data" button on your Commander page. Although I can take the general number of all Thagoids killed from the journal for the Xenohunter medal, it cannot be used for the Thargoid war stats (and it also doesn't differentiate between scouts, interceptors, etc.) and importing your game data regularly is the only way to have such numbers here.
kovaHrDGreat site, thank you

Thank you for the report. The supposed behavior is to set 0-0 (for having just the experimental effect or so there), but I have fixed the issue with the other values like 3-3 set and also added the current grade 5 option, so it will work with anything now.

I recently created a squadron in the game supporting a minor faction.
I then tried to create it on Inara?
The game seems to be happy with my new squadron.
But for some reason it does not show upon Inara?
It is probably a mistake I have made?
But I have gone through things & can not see where I may have gone wrong?
Maybe nothing happens until Thursday?
It is hard to know though?
I wanted to call the squadron a slightly different name to the name of the faction that I am supporting?
Which I have seen many others do before.
May be that has something to do with it?
Thank you for your fantastic site.
I expect that I have made an error somewhere?
Cheers
