Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

MeowersSmth strange happened with main page "random recent photo" block, wrong symbol code perhaps? Gallery itself is fine.

Some time ago the 'Nearest' link was removed from the 'Galaxy' page which is fine and I can still find it. Would it be possible to add it to the 'Shortcuts' bar so it is available on all pages?

BTW - took a bit of adjustment however I've come to really like the new 'Nearest' page. Thank you!

Teething problem: I have noticed that the gravity data for the locations I happen to be visiting right now is wrong. HIP 36601, C 1 A and C 1 D are good examples - both have really low gravity, less than 0.1 g, but the data displayed for them is closer to 1 g.
(EDDB shows the correct data for them.)
Maybe some misaligned data in a table somewhere...

It's there, as "Data - Nearest" (or just click the general Data section in the menu).

Thanks, fixed. The game is providing the value in m/s2 and I haven't noticed it, so it needed to be recalculated at the output.

Aha, lol! I had mistakenly thought the ordering of the two most recent moons I landed on was wrong (i.e. the weaker one being shown as the stronger) so I didn't suspect a simple factor as the issue

Unfortunately, no idea. This is apparently happening somewhere between Frontier and Sony, so I don't know what exactly may be wrong. If it won't work later (the Frontier's login servers seems to be a little bit wonky lately), please contact Frontier's support about it.

I just came across an issue with the newly added carrier image upload.

If you try to upload an image from the squadron fleet URL it fails every time but works fine from the CMDR's fleet URL.

Lave Station seems to be missing from the damaged stations list (https://inara.cz/stations-damaged/), when you view the Lave station page it does show it is damaged (https://inara.cz/station/731/)

On the news page in the recent stories part I found a little bug. If you have links in the excerpt which would be visible (see example below), then they are removed. I can understand the removal of the links there, but the text of the links shouldn't be removed.

As an example:
https://inara.cz/galaxy-logbooks/57445/

The first text is "A lot happened since I got my own fleet carrier. " with "my own fleet carrier" being a link (my FC here on inara). In the excert it is displayed (see the part before before the dot at the end of the sentence) as "A lot happened since I got ." I would consider it better, if it would say the same text as the original, just without the linking...

Jack'lulSeems like the medals/badges are getting updated only when IMPORT FRONTIER DATA is used, they do not update when using EDMC.
For example a counter for bounties claimed does not increase on Inara while on EDSM it does while pushing data through EDMC.
Also IMPORT FRONTIER DATA create duplicate entries for me for recently bought ships and activities (I already removed them from my profile).


Yes, that's an expected behavior - those medals (and also rankings) require to have verified stats, thus I am not accepting any data that can be easily altered to it.

Can something about the duplicated entries be done?

It seems ship purchase or sell causes duplicated entry every time after data is pushed from EDMC and then data is imported from Frontier.

Maybe, it has various complications as the ship IDs are being reused in the game and I think that I removed the check there because it prevented the ships being added because of the old outdated ships present back then (it was simply more user friendly to add new ship and users then just removed the obsolete ship than not to add the ship at all with commanders complaining it doesn't work). Another problem was the old ships being re-added because there was not sure what was removed by intention and what is actually a new ship of the same type and same ID. Thus the condition to have the ship considered as unique is to have the specific ship with specific ID bought at specific timestamp. But I may try to revisit it and let's see how it will work now, with the fleets (hopefully) more tidy.
