Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I am confused by the market opportunity tab, for example I see Agronomic Treatment as an opportunity sell at over 29k (makes sense) but then later in the list I see it as sell again but at 6k (surely this should be a buy opportunity?). Am I reading it wrong?

Would be better if we can chose the data we want to import/synced beside hiding things. This will also reduce the server traffic : )

As example: I don't need "CREDITS AND ASSETS" or "PERSONAL LOGS" and other log based statistics. = 80% less data for my profile.

It shows the latest known price with the timestamp, so for example when there is a low price with old timestamp, it may worth a re-check, because there may be new, higher price present. If the price is low and the timestamp recent, it doesn't worth further checking. But I know this whole thing is a little bit confusing and I want to rework it to something more clear and straightforward in the future.

Actually, as I always need to download the entire journal for the day, it will rather add me more problems than benefits and as most commanders will want everything anyway, the savings will be negligible.

I'm a new player to elite dangerous just downloaded last week on Xbox one free game store.
I'm hooked already bought full game new n waiting for the odyssey expansion.
My only request is I have a xbox chatpad keyboard and when I attach it it doesn't work. It would be a great improvement n should be easy since in advanced options I can mod the keyboard inputs can some allow those of us to use it thank you

He's talking about an Xbox specific peripheral that was outdated YEARS ago with the advent of the Xbox app and it's Smartglass features. This is not Inara related at all

Inara is showing the incorrect credits amount in the Commander tab, even after refreshing the Frontier data.
Seems to be only after the Community Goal has finished and the rewards credited to my balance.

Just noticed that this is a 'feature' when buying a fleet carrier, is it the same for CG rewards ?

Sorry I'm quite new and not up to speed with all the things

Edit: Disregard, it seems to have sorted itself out now.

Hey Artie, there seems to be a issue with the pictures uploaded sometimes not making it to the latest posts in the "Gallery".

I uploaded 2 recently only one is on latest now that i look at it.

This happened once before as well after the gallery rework.

That's an intended behavior - the Trending and general Latest section (without the sub-category selected) are grouping the images by author, to prevent it being spammed by somebody posting 50 images at once or so.

Yeah, it may happen sometimes, depends what was in the journal at the time of the update and when it was updated (the stuff in the journal can have some delay or there was no reliable reference point for the overall credits state). In both cases, it should be always updated at the next session start at the latest.

In outfitting when you search for '5A Frame Shift Drive' two entries comes up. If you choose the 'wrong' one you'll get blank results. Does one represent that double-engineered module?

I haven't been able to import my data for days now keeps saying

"There was a problem with Frontier's service while requesting the data. Please wait a couple of hours and then try to repeat your request.
[httpCode: 0, fetchCode: 28]"

Any advice or links to post to fix this?

I have adjusted your import date to skip the problematic journals not being served by Frontier's server, please try again.

HoleyMcMoleyAnother wee buglet that I suspect you already know about Artie: when I click on any materials (for their description page), it has a section which is meant to say how many I have/need, but it's zero for both. (In other words - Need: 0, Have: 0)


Actually, I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the report! I will fix that in a couple of days in a minor update.

I see this is now fixed - nice one!
