Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Would be nice to get such screenshots to the email on removal. Some may have them only here and don't expect to loose them sileintly one day. Or at least notification before removal.

Well, Inara is not intended to serve as a backup as warned right on the page where the images are added and there is also clearly said that some images may be a subject of removal, so it's up to each user. Generally liked images with at least few "shinies" will stay here forever though (unless manually removed by user, etc., of course).

Certainly not. But I've seen some rumours during the alpha that the Panther Clipper may be actually a thing in Odyssey, probably further down the line, so let's see...

From what was found in the datamining, there is a panther clipper with complete stats, but the actual 3D model is completely unfinished and still very rough. It definitely is (or was) in development, but who knows when it might come out.

I've got no idea if the game has its own screenshot tool & if so, just where or how they are saved.

I use Lightshot (it's free) which saves my sceenshots to my machine, hence they are never lost, regardless of what happens to them in Inara.

Please stick with just one game version, either the Horizons or the Odyssey - switching back and forth will cause those constant rank promotion/demotion problems, because Horizons is not reporting ranks above Elite. The entries in the achievements log can be removed manually then.

Oh well that is a bummer i have to swap cause odyssey some times bugs out and gets stuck loading i have no choice but to load horizons. Also for sharing some wing mission to play with other i do change to that ocassionally. Will turning off EDMC help?

Frontier Data Import will still cause the same behavior when it updates your profile. Only option in that case would be to turn off the automatic import and only use EDMC during Odyssey sessions.
Which would, however, stop updating your Inara rankings and some updates about your fleet carrier (if you have one)

I want to add a flight to an existing flight group but this is what happens:

Select 'Add flight'
Taken to a page showing group roster and informed ' Please assign members and/or a Flight leader to this Flight.'
Select a member (who is to be Flight Leader) but then just taken to that member's Cmdr page
no further action can be taken...

Am I doing something wrong?

I just checked myself to try and help, and for me it displays a UI above the group roster, where I can assign flight leader and members through drop-down menus. Are you sure it isn't being shown on your side?

This is all I see, and clicking it just takes me to Sqn roster and selecting a name just takes me to that person's Cmdr page

You should see a big white form above the roster, with the inputs for the flight name, description and flight members, is it there? If not, it may be some browser plugin removing it (I think it happened long time ago for somebody). Please check that.

Hi I'm having problem importing my frontier data. I receive this message: The Frontier's service is down or didn't return any relevant data, please try to repeat your request later.
[httpCode: 504, fetchCode: 0].
Lol I have had to watch this past week and a half as my Top 100 in Inara slowly slipped through my fingers xD

I was using Opera - removed Ad blocker extension, - still no different

Also tried in Edge browser - still the same.

Ah, I missed the error message you have mentioned before. Some flight is understaffed (Vicarium) and you should handle that first before adding a new flight. I will make it more clear there.
