Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

So if you are Elite II in trading like me e.g. and log into Horizon for a day bcs you were in HIP 36601 e.g. Inara goes back to just Elite and then rewards Elite II after an Odyssey sync again.
I know this is just reading journals and updating the DB accordingly but just sth I discovered
looks weird in my archievment logAnd another thing that is weird I noticed is, that my ships are all on my carrier and Inara says that but they are all shown in different star systems but still on the carrier

MokonziIs there anything in place to let us 'select' the mods we're saving up for for Personal Equipment?
In Crafting lists you have "Add Equipment" in the right column. You can select both upgrades and engineering mods in there.

Would it be possible to make the Missing Components tables sortable like you've got in the Missing Components page?
It's really handy when picking missions by materials reward to look at these lists, and it being alphabetical would make it easier to look them up.
So we could sort each recipe by quantity, type, or name.
New idea, in the Ship Locker, could the Components be broken down into Chemicals, Circuits, and Tech. That might be a better change on reflection.
It's broken down on the components tab already, I however see that for some reason the components in the ship locker aren't ordered alphabetically, I will fix that. I am going to do some general adjustments with the inventories and missing components (put it together for less clicks and wandering around), so let's see how it will work after that.

Yeah, it's a problem, as Horizons reports it that way and I cannot place simple "do not degrade" rank condition there, as it then won't update manually set ranks (set higher than the actual state in the game). Although it's solvable to some extent, it will cause additional problems with the rankings, etc. But I suppose once the current turbulent events with Odyssey will settle down, players will see each other between version, etc., there will be not much reasons for Odyssey commanders to run in Horizons, so it will be alright.

I was thinking about adding some kind of assistant/helper a year ago, but I was still not sure if that does worth an effort. But as such questions are getting more frequent lately, it may worth to take another look on that.

The Ship Locker is by far the easier page to use when selecting missions and working what I need to get when selecting mission rewards.
The Components are actually already ordered as Chemicals, Circuits, and Tech already. Which is perfect for me, they just need the headings added in. If you order all the components as one block it'll actually make things harder when working out which items are best for trading with the bar keeper. As you can only trade within the sub-category the words Chemicals, Circuits, and Tech are more useful than Components (other than reference the 1000 limit).

I think you can press and hold Q for a menu. Option B is to switch to Horizons and you'll be put in your ship in orbit, then switch back to Odyssey.

As already stated by Aunty Sledge, the little "wheel" menu you can open on the bottom left while on foot should have a button to recall your ship (or to dismiss it while it's landed)

Is this something has been previously reported, or is it just me?
So it seems to be the following is true
Faction A issues a mission (from system x) and the recipient is Faction A in system y.
In this scenario, INF does appear to be earnt (NOTE: In the scenarios below, it is assumed that INF is the reward of successful completion of mission)
However,
Faction A issues a mission (from system x) and the recipient is Faction B in system z
In this scenario, no INF is earnt (which is different from pre Odyssey ED / ED Horizons
It use to the be the case that the issuing Faction would receive INF as well as the recipient

In those cases I think it would be useful if the quote used in such a post included a link to the original that it is referring to.

BZSm1thLove INARA, been my go to resource since I started off on PS4 all those years ago (now on PC only). Have recently noticed a problem (not sure if its just me, or if its a known problem) But INF doesn't not appear to be getting calculated when your view Member activity under the Squadron tab.
Is this something has been previously reported, or is it just me?

It seems to be working correctly. Well, at least by the influence changes reported by the journal for the missions (you can see the influences counted in on hover in your mission log). But to be sure (that nothing has changed in the journals with Odyssey) - do you recall what rewards (influence and reputation) have you seen in your latest two credits donation missions made today?

I can't recall....I believe it was either 1 or 2 REP, but I noticed that in the Missions log it doesn't appear to be showing.
As noted, the issuing Faction used to benefit in the System the mission was issued from, as well as the recipient faction and there system (fairly certain)
