Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Huh, without you mentioning it, I probably would've missed that as well. It seems like EDMC isn't reporting the new total assets value correctly, so my personal guess would be this isn't Inara's fault, but EDMC's fault (or whichever other 3rd-party tool you might be using).
But this can not be, because on EDSM is always the correct value.
Edit/ Wait, that's not true either. With EDSM it always takes a little longer until the current values are displayed. However, the "old" value is never displayed there.

Well that's just crazy. And I feel silly for just assuming Inara was wrong and not actually flying to it! Sorry.
I've raised it on the issue tracker now, so it might get fixed in game at some point. Or made worse in some horribly unexpected way...

How long should it reasonably take for changes in stats to be reflected on the ranks/ rep page. I have the required values for the tier 1 exo medal. The stats in INARA show the same as on the codex ingame so I know they are ok on INARA. But i still haven't got the medal unlocked on the ranks rep page. I know it takes time to unlock but I have seen no flow across to the ranks rep page since 18 Sep.
I have been in game several tines and force upgraded and auto updated from frontier several times as well.
Also do Thargoid scouts count towards the xeno hunter medal?

It happens immediately, BUT - you need to import your data via "Import Frontier data" feature, to ensure no data were altered. Thargoid scouts do count, too, but once again - it needs to be imported via the feature mentioned and most importantly, it counts only recent kills from the respective events in the journal, because there is no lifetime value in the journal/in-game stats (unfortunately).

I have done exactly what you have said. I use EDMC and have ensured that the API is correct. I have even inported the Journal files manually to try to get the Thargoid info in those sessions into my INARA account.
My INARA stats page shows I have 133 Organic Data Registered and 30 Unique Species Encountered.
I have recently killed 20 Thar scouts but Medal progress says zero.
My combat bonds are 1676 on the stats page but only 1622 on the medal progress.
I have logged out and in of INARA, EDMC, ED and any other info system that I think may be involved.
I have let the auto update happen and forced updates - no change.
So, my conclusion is something is not allowing the ranks and reputation page to update.

It looks like you may have linked a different game account by accident? There are no journals present and the CMDR profile from Frontier's server returns a commander named "b******3" (name redacted). Please re-check that (you can reset the link in the Settings > Commander settings).

Skiffy1Greetings Artie! I'm curious if I could suggest a new feature? I make use of the ability to export current ship loadouts to Coriolis and EDSY constantly. However, I'd also love for the easy ability to export TARGET loadouts to Coriolis or EDSY. Is this something that could potentially be added someday?

Hello, not at the moment, because there can be anything in there (some legacy support for the "native" Coriolis and EDSY formats is still present) and despite some format validation, it may cause various troubles (for example, when the SLEF format put in is with wrong modules, etc.). But it may change in the future. In any case, EDSY supports a manual import of the SLEF exports (just open the ship there and in the Ops import/copy&paste the data), not sure about Coriolis.
