Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Firstly a huge thank you to those running, managing and contributing to Inara!!

I just have a tiny feature request...
On the Engineers overview page https://inara.cz/galaxy-engineers/ (and on each engineer profile) it would be hugely beneficial to be able to see at a glance which blueprints I have pinned for each engineer.

Mission search tool

Hey Artie,

hope you 're doing well and staying safe.

I would like to drop an idea and maybe see if it's possible.

Remember that issue we discussed a while ago, about finding massacre missions for specific systems?
(stacking massacre missions eg. for Tollan, Albardhas)
You probably did a query search on the database and suggested some systems which indeed had missions which could be stacked!

It would be quite nice to have a tool
allowing missions search in systems (and stations?), displaying rewards (materials, goods, influence, rep)

eg. I am searching for missions that give a specific reward "modular terminals" but it takes time to go from station to station and check.

I cannot think of a way to predict specific missions or their rewards. Missions are tailored to you, taking into account what relevant rank you are, your ship's specs, your standing with that minor faction ...

If you're just looking for modular terminals, there's a few carriers selling those.

Artie, I noticed that the required materials you have for the new pre-engineered Seeker Missiles includes 16 Proto Light Alloys, but it's actually 16 Proto Radiolics.

Yeah, it may be useful to have something for that (and I think that I have it on the list already). It can be just manual and not automatic though, as there is no overall list of pinned blueprints in the journal.

Thanks for testing! As it's working, I will add it online in some of the future updates.
The mission stuff you described is a problem to get. At least until somebody will discover a reliable mechanics how to determine that, similar to massacre missions. There is no list of missions, etc. anywhere, so such stuff needs to "mimick" how the game is generating the mission and without that knowledge it's simply not possible.

MeowersI guess it's surely a "zero priority side task" and not even a "bug", probably posted before (didn't found though), but userpics in "Recent Stories" section are appearing cropped. PC/Win10, Firefox, 1920x1080. Mobile version viewed on Android device shows the same. Maybe make an image container smaller, to fit square userpic in a 3-line preview and leave some gray space on bottom or/and top for 4-lines?


You mean the bottom of the image, right? I can do something with that, that shouldn't be a big problem. If you mean another kind of cropping, then screenshot please.

I am having an issue where my fleet carrier is stuck on "friends only" on inara even though ingame my fleet carrier is set to anybody. I have changed it to friendly only a few times during CG's or to help miners with more profitable rates so they can buy better mining ships to gather metals/minerals faster to sell to me. However I cannot get it to update to "anybody" even though inara shows that it has been updated recently.

Hello, please use the Import Frontier data feature again. It seems your journals weren't imported any way for a while, so that should properly set your recent fleet carrier details.

Hello, please use the Import Frontier data feature again. It seems your journals weren't imported any way for a while, so that should properly set your recent fleet carrier details.



I got a weird bug, when I get forwarded to the steam page and enter my info then sign in it sends me back to inara update page where I select platform. It never forwards me to frontier website.

I'm a faction owner and I would very much like to be able to form the squad with the same name but aparently people are already using it even if they have nothing to do with the faction/idea that's suposed to be taken. Where could I get some assistance with this?

Please send me an in-game screenshot of your in-game squadron details to PM and I will take a look on that (if you mean a squadron on Inara, I cannot do anything about in-game squadrons otherwise).

Would it be possible, in the Nearest > System Search , to have the population of the system (low, medium, high would be enough) and a "None"  check box to search for system with no state at all ?


EDIT: yes I'm using eddb.io/sytem for that kind of search, but I was wondering if this could be add to Inara, reducing the need to use other tools.

Hey CMDR, try eddb.io/sytem you can sort the system next to you by population.
