Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieThe credits displayed in the game should be correct, there however is some discrepancy what is in the journals. Either there is something missing or some values aren't reported correctly there, but it's hard to find out what exactly is happening. In any case, the correct state of the credits is in most cases written there at the session start, so it should get the credits state corrected at the next imports.

Yes, I have moved it to Patreon as it makes things easier to me with basically no drawbacks in comparison to Paypal. So, please, consider this platform instead - there is no problem to make one off donations, too (just pick any pledge level you like and then just cancel the subscription).
Hi Artie. Sorry to hear about Paypal. Is it really that bad to get donations via Paypal that you would have to drop it? I try to limit the number of apps/sites where I put money through.

Inara is most impressive to me. The whole engineering blueprint/mats tools are invaluable and helped me quite a bit to manage it all. I just bought a carrier and the carrier page and features are also great. Oh, and the export to Coriolis is fixed, thank you!But I wanted to ask about credit balance and assets. The balance looks right but the assets are way off now. The carrier alone was 3.7B but total assets in my account shows 1.4B. I suspect FDev is feeding you the wrong data. Not that important really.

Yeah, the overall assets with FC should be handled by the respective apps, for Inara API updates. The direct journal imports are working (at least in respect to the "official" in-game number).

I am having an issue importing Frontier data in the sense it just doesn't want to know. Had the same problem a while back. So had to delete my account. I keep getting Frontier service maybe down, try again later. [httpCode: 200, fetchCode: 0]
I'm playing on Xbox one.

Hello, it seems you may have linked an incorrect Xbox account due auto-login. Please go to the Xbox live site first, logout there and then reset the link in the Settings > Commander settings on Inara and link the account again. It should ask for your Xbox login during the process, so you can verify a correct Xbox/game account is used.

Expansions and retreats are much more common after the last set of BGS changes. Many systems run "hot" and are constantly expanding, whilst Anarchy factions are retreating all over the place.
Would it be possible to show retreated systems in the faction overview page? Perhaps in their own tab alongside "Star System Presence".
Currently you can see factions who have retreated from a specific system, but you can't see an overview of where else they have retreated from without doing a lot of manual fishing.
It would be useful to know where the next expansion isn't going to end up, as they've already retreated from there once before (or to gauge if a faction is no longer being player supported and can be encrouched upon without upsetting anyone else).

I have noticed recently that Inara isn't updating my ship loadout. Specifics:
I recently added a number of engineering upgrades to one of my less-often-used ships, including FSD (grade 5 increased range with stripped down exp effect), heatsink launchers (Gr1 increased ammo capacity), and point defense (Gr 5 lightweight) I also upped my engineered thrusters from Gr2 to Gr 3 and added the stripped down exp effect.
This was a few days ago, presumably allowing ample time for the updates to be retrieved by Inara and I have attempted to manually update. That appears to complete without issue, however the engineering mods aren't shown correctly in my ship loadout. (Mods I performed a long time ago are there.)
I played yesterday night and my credit balance (for example) is shown correctly, reflecting this most recent gameplay. This information is getting to my Inara data and update credentials appear to be up to date.

Ensure you are in your enginered ship to trigger the journal entries. It doesn't list all your ships, it lists the ships you are using.

Are you still in the newly upgraded ship?
If you are, try docking and change to another one, then update. I’m not 100% clear on the details, but apparently a ship change (or rank change) trigger a more in-depth change in the data from Frontier. I had a similar issue with Engineer status, and changing ships at docking has addressed that.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have left the ship in question at my 'home' station but it's quite easy for me to get back to it, get in the ship and perform an update to see if the data here is then updated. I will post a result...

I will try to be more observant! Once in a while you get caught by an obvious one.
This also explains a problem I had a long time ago. I purchased a ship and Inara never reported the ship's value or other data. I know how to resolve that now.
