Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Shogun19533With the "The Samaritan" badge, where does the numbers for "Items and Civilians Rescued" come from?

Your Journal logs. You can see your values in 'Your statistics' section on the Thargoid Wars page.

So, "Civilians Rescued" are from damaged stations and items are from where?

Same place. There are items you can collect inside the burning stations. They are required for missions offered from the rescue megaships.

Yes, at the moment, only those from the burning stations from imports to Inara, at least until Frontier will expose the refugees transported from Codex into the journal stats.

Thank you.

Hi @Artie, going back to the total asset number being wonky, I think I may have isolated the issue - thanks to the detailed analysis of the player journal (mission logs and also docking information) here on Inara... the asset figure again jumped by almost 200m within a specific 20 minute timeframe on the 21st without me actually doing anything at all in-game that made those kind of credits - turns out when this happened I applied 2-3 suit/weapon upgrades at one of the engineers (Yarden Bond) so the game seems to account for those (via exorbitant asset value increases). Thought I'd let you know not that there's much you can do about it

Thanks for the confirmation of my suspicion, it really seems the personal equipment is not counted towards the assets on buying them, but gets suddenly counted in on engineering. So let's see if the game update 10 will improve something tomorrow.

Hi there,
This is a line I put in our own faction discord after reading the latest patch notes:

It is a shame that Inara does not have an option, to find commodities only from the starports/settlements, a specific faction controls? Maybe they will in time?

I had thought about something like this before?
However for the BGS, it is much more relevent now.
You guys have an amazing site, which I could not live without!
I am sure that you are extremely busy?
If you do ever get the time, to introduce something like I suggested above?
It would be much appreciated Cheers
Keep up the great work!

Agreed with Orpheus

With the new BGS patch seeking market supply/demand/prices in all stations/ports controlled by a specific faction, in a list, will be extremely useful to dedicated BGS groups

Quick question.

One of my pilots has travelled to some systems that are not in the Inara DB. Do they eventually make their way in automatically, do they need to be added manually, or are they ignored as there is nothing really of value there?

Inara is more about inhabited space.

About the minor faction specific markets - I think that I have something in that regard on the list, no ETA for that yet though. Both market and trade routes searches aren't exactly cheap operations and both require various optimization methods and I am not exactly sure if some of them can be re-used for this specific search (probably yes, but I need to test that first). Meanwhile, you can use a market search via favorite stations, which should list the profits/trades between your selected stations (so you can set the viable stations of the minor faction you are interested in as a favorit and then limit the market listings by it).

Exactly as Aunty said and you assumed, the star systems far in the black may not be in the database and aren't added automatically on visits, unless there is something notable in there (stations, POIs, etc.)

Suggestion: Nearest Support missions. Or nearest Odyssey mission types.

Hey Artie,

There is a minor discrepancy in Reorte system: Dogo's Works is tagged as Surface settlement here and as odyssey settlement in EDDB.
It is EDO settlement as I did several ground CZs there and more and more people will do so due to the incoming CG today.

Hmmm... what are the minor faction conditions to spawn the support missions, of those can be determined this way? (I have no other way than this to try to determine this mission type availability)

Thanks for the information, it seems one commander fixed the station type meanwhile.

You list "restore" missions in the mission logs, as they are so sought after would it be possible to use the data you have from player mission logs, based on recent activity a search for restore missions or similar support types could be found without having to rely on the station's faction states as they seem fairly unreliable. A bit like you do with the security reports for PvP activity.

I think after the latest patch restore missions can no longer rely on Civil Unrest, and Infrastructure and/or bust states might be the better options, but more digging might need to be done on that.
