Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

By the way, the Top 10 page still only reports the ship combat bonds, not the total combat bonds.
Organic Data Registered requirement fills me with dread. Settlements Rebooted are a bit of a slog as well but not so bad.
It should reflect the combat bonds combined now, too. Yeah, some medals definitely need further rebalancing and I will take a look at that (I am still giving it time after the update 10 with the Codex stats fixes).
Karina Forlon@Artie: just loud thinking, wouldn't be more appropriate applying progress for "The mercenary" medal in regards to amount of done surface missions? Currently used count of "surface conflicts" covers maybe 1/10 (personal estimate) of mercenary activities.
For some kind of missions it would make sense indeed. But I would like to limit the dependency on "manually" counting the numbers as much as possible and base it on the overall Codex stats, so it can reflect the lifetime values. So the current properties used are probably the only that are suitable for this medal.

First off I noticed that the state hadn't changed to "participating"
I ran a direct import from frontier data, and the state changed to "participating", and it got a one off "contributions" value.
But after several more round trips, the contributions is not being updated
I am still running "EDDiscovery" as I have for all the previous goals which Inara tracked correctly
And the API log page says you are receiving events from it, and showing no errors.
Not sure where the problem lies?
Is it just me, or are you missing updates from other contributors... I know you use the data to try and estimate the boundaries.

KerrI am participating in the latest Comunity Goal, and have noticed that Inara is not tracking my progress.
Interestingly today it has started updating as expected.
Go fugure... don't know where the problem was.

Yeah, it should always catch up.
But I am not sure why it wasn't updated yesterday, as I am looking into the journal, the CGoal updates seems to be pretty frequent there and as such should be imported. At least if the contribution numbers there weren't "stale" and showing old amounts at the time you checked, it's hard to say now.

Situation in 2020 became as critical, even in 2021 deaths skyrocketed in a few places, because people believed fake sources and dismissed the extreme danger, resulting in many deaths that could've been avoided. There were (and still are) cases of people who dismissed the risks and lost entire family because of their stupidity -- then blamed themselves to the point they went mentally ill or took their own lives.
This isn't funny anymore.

Hello, please go to the Xbox site first and logout there. Then link the account on Inara again and it should ask for your Xbox login this time, so you can verify a correct account is being linked. It was very likely caused by auto-login on the Xbox site.

Codex records for galaxy regions, are they all inclusive for what could be found and what was found or only what was found in that region? The reason I asked is that if the codex does not mention alien sites in the particular region thus there is no point to look for them, right? Thanks
