Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

My recent exobiology transactions, worth about 12 million Cr, are missing in my transactions log. They happened two days ago, on February 20th, at the same time when I was promoted to Ecologist. Also, my credit balance has been incorrect here since then, but I have not verified that after my latest game session. Will my credit balance here become correct over time? Are the missing payments permanently lost?

Those figures come direct from codex data from FDev, so whilst they tend to always be behind nothing is lost.
Credit balance is a complex beast as FDev get a few things wrong and I think Artie does some of his own calculations to get a better figure. Either way, nothing is ever lost so you should be fine.

I’m getting this again, have relinked the account in inara.cz, but still the same error code.

I cannot check in detail as no account (even the incorrect one) is linked at the moment, but in cases like this it's in 99% caused by the incorrect account being linked. Please go to the Xbox site first, logout there and then link the account on Inara anew. It must ask for your Xbox login during the process, so you can ensure a correct game account is used.

So I got a suggestion. I've been using Inara for the past few years and managing a Squadron. I must admit the Roster Roles is the thing that has caused the most trouble.
The rank structure is obiviously made for a top-down, large and hierarchy heavy squadron. It's a little bit "canned" to say the least.
Sadly we don't operate that way, so I have some feedback.
Here is my number one suggestion:

Hello, yeah, as Aunty mentioned, credits and overall assets may be tricky sometimes (but it should get corrected at the next session start and its import). I will however take a look why it wasn't processed for the transactions logs as well in a couple of hours.

ArtieI have checked the journal and the credits seems to correspond to what is in the journal, I see that the exobiology transaction is there as well, according the journal (just not sure if in full, as you mention 12 million Cr).
My transaction log has one Misc. transaction at a corresponding time, but with a smaller amount 212,500 Cr. That is likely the Codex discovery bonuses. I got the 12 million Cr of exobiology payments in several successive payments I got on the same visit to Vista Genomics in Bastana, where I sold my samples one system at a time. I remember well that after selling them all, my credit balance exceeded 3.6 billion for the first time.

- Fixed missing Exobiology payments for credits and credits transactions on journal imports, improved reliability of tracking of goods/materials picked or discarded while disembarked.
- Direct fleet carrier updates made by Inara via Frontier's server will no longer import black market data instead of the regular market data. There were too many reports and questions about why the black market is overriding regular market listings, thus this step. The previous conditions however remain until properly fixed by Frontier - if your market is not being updated, please disable the black market service on your fleet carrier.
- Combat bonds gained while disembarked are now counted towards The Soldier medal. Please import your latest data to reflect this change.
- Various minor fixes here and there.

Thanks for that. Not sure if the figures need a tweak, I've shot up to rank 5 which is 40K kills (I'm on about 110K actually) so you might want to make it a bit harder to level up.
Also, it's disembarked. Embarked is when on the ship, disembark is when off the ship.

The numbers should be alright, I am planning further adjustments of other medals to have them easier (as just a few people are getting to tier 5 currently) and there isn't that much people having high combat bonds numbers (combined) even now.

By the way, the Top 10 page still only reports the ship combat bonds, not the total combat bonds.
Organic Data Registered requirement fills me with dread. Settlements Rebooted are a bit of a slog as well but not so bad.
