Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

FDev putting in high hurdles as usual, I see. I'm here if you need anyone for testing, since this could really help make the Odyssey engineering grind less awful

o7 CMDRs,

first of all - great website, so much work and I really enjoy all the functions!

Nethertheless, I got one tiny suggestion for potential improvement. I know, this kinda belongs to the dark side of the universe, but I am missing a bit a batch showing the world, what kind of pirate you are. There are some nice role players out there, this CMDR included, trying to make some profit from stolen goods.

So a pirate bagde could contain:

- bounties issued
- black market network
- black market profit
- commodities smuggled

I have the opinion, it belongs to the game and is much more then just gankin'

So maybe you take it into consideration.

Greetings,
CMDR Sir Boundness

Speaking of engineers: there are inconsistencies with regard to modifications offered by Odyssey engineers in the Colonia region. Specifically,
  • Baltanos is shown as offering the Combat Movement Speed modification, but he is not mentioned on the list of engineers who offer that modification;
  • Eleanor Bresa is shown as offering the Faster Shield Regen modification, but she is not mentioned on the list of engineers who offer that modification;
  • Rosa Dayette is shown as offering the Improved Battery Capacity modification, but she is not mentioned on the list of engineers who offer that modification.

I hope these will be corrected ASAP, because I plan heading for Colonia and doing equipment upgrades there, so I’d really like to know which lists are correct

Thanks for the suggestion! I was thinking about it before, but it seems a little bit odd to award a medal for... you know, being a criminal. But if it will be a popular demand and there won't be objections against it, I may add it there.

What is everybody thinking about it, guys?

It seems that it may be somewhat usable after all, judging from the brief data. I will put something online by the end of the week and let's see how it will behave in a "real" usage.

Thanks for the report, fixed. It was just a simple problem of the last engineer to modules parameter ignored.

hello Artie,

at the Carrier Overview Page Vista Genomics is displayed with 150,000 Cr Upkeep Costs, ingame tells me 1,500,000 Cr -seems to be an error

greetings

Ah, it indeed is. Fixed, thanks (the fix will be reflected at the next fleet carrier update).

Thanks Artie for fixing the engineers thing.

Here’s another bug I’ve noticed: In my personal equipment loadouts list, the last loadout (Ranged combat 2) has as a secondary weapon a Grade 3 Karma P-15 with 3 mods, something that clearly should be impossible.
The actual, in-game loadout does have a Grade 3 Karma P-15, but with no mods. I’ve checked the journal files, and both SuitLoadout and SwitchSuitLoadout events appear to be correct, with an empty WeaponMods array.

Alright, a new feature - Materials trading search!

Please note this is an experimental feature. Due difficulties to get relevant data from the game journals, there is NO guarantee that the material orders listed are available. Pay attention especially to the order last update.

To update your trade orders, please import your latest journal via the Import Frontier data button on your CMDR profile page.

As it's a work in progress feature, please share any feedback.

Nice catch, thanks! It was fixed and it should get corrected on your next equipment loadout update (on its change, loadout swap, etc.)

For the Exobiologist badge, what counts for organic data registered? I handed in a few pages of data and it says 1/100, which seems like a bug, unless I'm misunderstanding the criteria (a very distinct possibility)

Can confirm. Data not updating with journal entries from visitor/purchaser on FC. Running EDD, EDMC and imported manually. No update to info.

This seems to be a theme for fleet carriers. I noticed months ago that fleet carrier info did not update with my journals as a visitor.

Absolutely awesome! Any way to show buy & sell orders on the FC market/overview as well where available?

As for how up-to-date the data is, I guess we're limited by what little the journals provide...

Edit: Furthermore, allowing carrier owners to manually update their orders if they wish to do so might be helpful - that way owners who want people to come to them can keep the "last updated" value fresh and new

Thanks for the feedback!

Unfortunately, the material trading doesn't behave like the commodity markets in the journals/etc. so my options are quite limited. I currently know when the fleet carrier owner sets (or cancels) the sale/purchase order and that's it. There is no overall listing and so on. I can theoretically add/deduce the amounts by other players journals, assuming they are importing their data to Inara, but it can get out of hands pretty quickly (because I know how much they bought/sold, but not how much of the order is remaining on the carrier, which can cause quite a mess with differing timestamps and gaps in the "trading history").

The best case scenario is that Frontier will add similar outputs as for the commodity markets into the journal/etc. and the existing 3rd party ecosystem for the commodity markets can be utilized for that. Hopefully it will be a popular demand by players and also it isn't something against the game design (I can imagine they may be afraid of turning it into another market, thus the limited storage and so on), so Frontier will consider that.

Allowing fleet carrier owners to edit their orders may be certainly an option, although it's not exactly an automated solution.

Yeah!
I wanna agree with that soooo much!!!
So many thanks to you, Artie!
That feature is a enormous time saver!!!

Inara is showing some of my ships as all their modules having a zero value. I've tried getting into the ship, manually pressing import data in Inara whilst in the ship, but the issue remains. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
