Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Keeps getting rejected for "Error: Star and/or station name doesn't match your currently selected station.   Price import was aborted."

Edit:  It looks like Elite OCR was the problem.  The name of the station got mangled.

Edit2: Fixed station name and uploaded with no problem.

BlueDrache: There is an error in that file, it was not apparently correctly OCRed. There is "BD+43 866;Ste-Rt Point;" as star and station name on the first few records, which is causing the problems.

Hey, new question:  I've noticed the "edit star/station" button is gone.  Does that mean you're getting complete information from the game or EDDN now?

Edit: NVM. You buried it under the "System Info" tab.

Hi,  Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, but I remember that on the MARKET screen, at the bottom, there used to a list of closest systems in the various major governments (Fed, Alliance, Empire). I cannot find it now, but it seems that station specific info or each system is now present.

No changes there. And as I just tested, multi-word names as logins works fine, maybe there was just some typo in login name/password on first try?

Artie - the minor faction search is a thing of beauty. I have picked up an error on it however. I am assuming it is imported from somewhere? Anyhow, it has our faction - Pan Galactic Mining Corp with an s on the end. How do I change that? I have also updated here on Inara to show us in Imani and in control of Lindsey Settlement there. However, it is also showing us with a presence in the system 'Pan'. This is (I am almost certain, but I have never been there) incorrect. Again, I am assuming a rendering error from OCR, or someone mistyping. How can I fix that?

It seems that I need to emphasize some buttons. Yes, there may be some errors as I took minor factions from various places. I filtered and fixed a lot, but there still may be some factions wrong. Please fix that where possible.
  • Faction can be added on the minor factions page listings, button on the top right side.
  • Faction can be edited (its name and the properties) on the respective minor faction page, button on the top right side again.
  • Any faction can be assigned to the proper star system in star edit (on star system page, button on the top right side or button via Market page), including their influence in given system. So if the faction presence if wrong, it can be edited on respective star system pages. Factions can be also eventually assigned to stations on stations edit page, if they are controlling them.

Great. I have done most of that already. Just a couple of edits to make.

Edit - I can't edit the origin as the name does not match. Perhaps selecting 'Player controlled = yes' should override that check on the name?

Ah, it's a "safety measure" against wrong origins, when it finds a system name in the minor faction name there is expected that's also the origin. Which apparently doesn't work well in case of "Pan". I added an exception there (there is also exception for systems Bridge and Ring) and fixed your faction origin.
