Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Rayman.
Eh disregard.. I was able to import data now. Idk why i couldnt before. Next time i'll avoid doing that guardian farm method

Yeah, frequent in-game relogging is an usual suspect with this error.

Leo SaganHello Artie,

Thanks for all your hard work.

INARA has troubles importing my logs. It started maybe 10 days ago and I suspect this is due to a lot of relogging I had to do lately.

Is there a way to correct the problem ?

I swear I'll take it easy when it comes to relogging in the future

Hello, please try again (I have adjusted your import date to skip the troublesome journals).

ZEN IndustriesHi Artie!
Can I suggest a bit of feature in search nearest section...
- Choice amongst power... "None" or "Independent", so we can find system not controlled or exploited by any power.

Maybe there is the way for that already, but I didn't figure where or how to filter just that.

Thanks in advance.

Good idea, I will add something there for the next Inara version.

A minor thing that's been nagging me for years on the Goods page ( https://inara.cz/commodities/ ) -- the commodity search box has a drop down with 200+ items that would work way better if it had an auto-complete. I often use this to also quickly input a system (which does have an auto-complete) when I haven't bothered to update my current location or am searching for stuff to buy with an alt.

Yes, there will be an auto-complete in the next Inara version. Current estimate is an end of the next week or a week after that. I am almost done with the major stuff, but it still need some extra work here and there plus a lot of testing before deployed.

Artie, would it be posible to have a ship rebuy lower your score on the BATTLE OVER HIP 22460 score.
Or all combat scores too.
Many are using death to use the rearm synthed weapons exploit. Also loosing a ship should come at a cost to your score for the wars and combat in general.

Hmmm... how does that exploit work exactly? I am tracking deaths caused by Thargoids already, so it's not a problem to add some minor penalty to the score based on that. I am however not sure if it will help with the problem mentioned as some stuff like self-destruct, etc. may be a workaround for that and those shouldn't cause any penalty, as may be completely unrelated to a fight with Thargoids.

Its works by getting synthed ammo, then kill stuff , then before ammo runs out, DIE (doesnt matter how), the rebuy refils sythned ammo.
Or thats what ive herd, I havent actually tried it myself. Though ive been in wings with people who have been using it.

I was just thinking any death in game no matter how it is caused should result in a loss in score for inara.
No biggy if you dont want to do it. Was just wondering about loosing score on death no matter what causes the death.

I see, thanks for the explanation. In this case it seems to be rather a material saver at the cost of the rebuy and time (getting back to the fight after the rebuy), not directly related to the fight. Penalizing deaths is a little bit tricky, because having a large penalty is demotivating and player is already punished by losing time that can be spent by active fighting instead, so even smaller penalty on top of that seems redundant (or both together may be considered as demotivating as well). It seems to be best to leave it as is at the moment, but thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I disagree, as I think killing yourself to rearm a ship is wrong.
But Its your site, so I defer to your wisdom and choices on everything Inara
Im just glad you have made the site for us in the first place

Guys, I would like to do a short new Inara version testing next week (to get an early feedback and to catch possible problems in a limited scale before the public version), thus I need 10-15 victims guinea pigs brave volunteers. If anybody is interested, please drop me a line into PM or here and I will send you instructions next week, when ready. Thanks.

Hmm my exobiologist badge has gone and my ammounts have become zero in that catagory for some reason.

There is no Statistics event (from the Odyssey game version) in your journal for unknown reason, the latest one is from Horizons game version, which is a cause of this. It should get "fixed" during some later Odyssey session, once the game will write the respective stats into the journal.

Hello CMDR ,

is there automatic update with the Account API under Data / Components Trading ?
I see data that I have already visited and served 100%, only that the update is then counted 1 day further.
30 Jul 2022, 3:40pm
Hello,
you can click the Import Frontier data button to have the latest state imported (when known in the journal), otherwise it's on daily basis as you noted. It's not very intended for real-time updates though - for such stuff please use small tools like EDMC, EDDiscovery/EDDLite or EDDI and put your Inara API key there. It should do near real-time updates for you as you fly.

Just updated and docked in System Tepertsi at The Profanity. Unfortunately I can't sell the player from On Foot looting.

if you are online , i just checked out at Banshee Queen (H4M-62Z) | THANATOS︎ - Sold microsupercapacitors and filled his inventory to 100%.
If each player can only sell a certain amount (which the fleet operator specifies), the inventory should still be open. But I think that the purchase offer exists for all players.
