Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

It happen from time to time while navigating, I get this CORS, then my browser reloads the page for some reason and then everything keeps working normally.

I just did a major upload as far as I'm concerned to the servers by docking for the first time in 6 months. 3 Exploration ranks updated and 3 Exobiologist.
However it's been some 12 hrs and although the majority of items have changed, I don't see the squadron rankings update completely yet. Is there a particular update schedule for everything to tally up?
It says I'm on Taxonomist, when I should be on Geneticist, so it's updated one level from Cataloguer, just not the other two.

Just for the future reference (as I see the rank appears to be correct now) - in the worst case, relogging into the game menu and back to the game and importing the game data after that should help. All the ranks and their progresses are written at the session start, so it may solve cases like some promotion event missing in the journal or so.

Well, in the journal it's using the new names and as Horizons game version will be probably merged into Odyssey game client at some point, I suppose it will get resolved "on its own".
TringaliI've noticed a database query issue (I assume) re: station services. When searching for closest "Vista Genomics" all sorts of stations and places get returned that don't have the service. If you click on the station, it correctly shows the service doesn't exist, yet using the search tool shows that it has the service. Not for everything, Interstellar Factors works fine for example, but I find "Vista" returns all the stations whether it's there or not.
Thank you for the report. Do you recall some example by any chance? As Vista genomics service is almost everywhere, it's problematic to track it down, so a link to the specific Nearest search will help. Thanks.
ACtPRimein the game my exploration rank is elite v but in inara, even updating it only appears as elite II.
Please hop into the Odyssey and import your game data after that. Horizons journals are cutting above-Elite ranks a couple of other things off, so there is necessary to have the Odyssey journals for that imported.

Jr250Hi all. My apologies if this has already been discussed but, I noticed INARA switched from displaying commander names in the combat view to showing a generic "by cmdr PLAYER".
Was this an intended change? It's very useful to know who is a constant aggressor to avoid them. If a cmdr chooses to display this view, it should be made available. Otherwise, there isn't much of a point in having it, IMHO.

Hello, there was no change on Inara's end in that regard. There is supposed so show the player names without any restrictions and as I see your combat log, just the NPCs appears to be there. Where do you see this, please?

Thanks for the details. To be honest, I am not sure where the problem is - it's on the Google's end and by some searching it seems this issue was fixed a year ago (or so). Maybe it was not resolved entirely, hard to tell. I will keep an eye on that, but I am unable to replicate the problem, so it's difficult.

this problem is usually caused by heavy relogging in the game (Frontier's server has troubles to serve such journals, sometimes it may catch up later as you noticed, sometimes it won't). Increasing the relog intervals (at least two minutes or more) should help with the problem a bit. In any case, I have adjusted your import date to skip the problematic journals, so it should work again.

Currently, no direct way (the only "workaround" is to make two searches - one without any station owner set and one with the not wanted faction set and see where it differs). In the next Inara version (I would like to have it live in 2-3 weeks) will be the option to exclude the station owner though.

I am missing Mission State column in the view of Finished Missions to see that the mission was completed, failed or cancelled. It should be an easy fix.

Rayman.I have a problem importing my data. It started when I farmed the guardian commodity by scooping one of em with python, exiting to the main menu and then back and so on with 192 repetitions. I waited long enough and still getting the error. How much i screw up and there is a way to fix it?

Eh disregard.. I was able to import data now. Idk why i couldnt before. Next time i'll avoid doing that guardian farm method

Can I suggest a bit of feature in search nearest section...
- Choice amongst power... "None" or "Independent", so we can find system not controlled or exploited by any power.
Maybe there is the way for that already, but I didn't figure where or how to filter just that.

INARA has troubles importing my logs. It started maybe 10 days ago and I suspect this is due to a lot of relogging I had to do lately.
Is there a way to correct the problem ?
I swear I'll take it easy when it comes to relogging in the future
