Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hello, it does work, but as almost all stations has this service present it looks like everything is listed. Are you sure that Bosch hangar has no Frontline solutions at all? Because even in your own journal record, the service is listed there. It may be some new bug with the journals after update 13 if it's truly not there.
I am sure and lot of stations i have visited has the same problem

Might be alone on this one but something that bothers me with the new layout is that there is a lot of dead space, specifically on the News page and possibly other areas I might be forgetting. The old version takes up nearly the whole page which in my opinion feels much more lively compared to the new one. Is there any reason for using less space?

I quite like the new look Inara for tablet use, although prefer to use the legacy version on my second screen when in game (maybe it’s just familiarity but I find navigation easier in the legacy version while flying).
I do have a feature request, would it be possible to have a search function in our flight log that would allow us to display all of the times we have visited a given system?
After six years Playing the game I often enter systems I think I’ve been to (and EDDI tells me so if I have it running) but it would be nice to be able look back and see when it was last in system.
I don’t know how you manage to do all that you do all on your own. You are a legend!

can confirm that several station at colonia have a similar problem. for example, system Los, Murakami Gateway. there should be frontier solutions and apex interstellar but no sign of them.
ingame (the system map) tells you they are there but they aren´t present. have recognized that on many smaller / medium stations. also before update 13.. maybe a bug or new designed.

Quite frankly i'm not exactly a fan of the new design -it may look better on mobiles, but it doen't really cut it on my monitor
also, is it possible to customize the news page layout?
i'm not really keen to have half page blocked by commander stories that, generally speaking, have absolutely no interest to me, not to mention that some are in languages i don't understand.
while the old inara also featured the cmdr stories on the news page, the new format is really pushing them in the front
one more thing - the settings section for the new inara is missing a lot of stuff that we can customize in the old inara - especially the privacy settings
i'm pretty sure you're well aware of that, but i thought to point it out

Take my Name for example; if you search for "Sir Duke" you won't get any results.
You need to know the exact spelling like "Sir-Duke" to get any result.
Well, I don't need to search myself, but maybe some other Commanders or a ship or something, when I only know a part of their name...

Thanks! I have forwarded the problem to Frontier, so let's see. I cannot do anything about it unfortunately, as those services are being reported in the journals, so I have no way to know they are not actually there.

By the dead space you mean the sides of the page or padding in/between the content blocks? The primary reasons for putting more space there is to make things less "crowded" and also easier to read/scan (like logbooks, for example).

Hello, the search in the flight log may be quite difficult and unreliable, because the logs are being compiled together into monthly summaries over time, which holds just stuff like most visited star systems, etc. but not all the data. So searching for particular star system visited earlier may provide no results at all, although you have been there before (but just once, for example, so it didn't make into the summary).

Hello and thank you for the feedback. I will make an adjustment to the front page so it will show the Galnet news first on the lower resolutions, it's right these news are a primary interest for most users on this page. The settings you are looking for are now under Commander > Commander settings. I have separated the account and the commander settings, because with the multi-commander accounts I would like to do in the future it would be necessary anyway.

I am trying to use the new version and always us Inara on a second monitor when I play Elite. It just seems to take much longer than previous to get to things.

I mentioned import from EDSY, not Coriolis. It works flawlessly in the old layout, I use it quite often. But it doesn't work in the new layout.

There is no reason for that, it should work same as before. Please check if there is an 'elitesheet' and 'esid' cookies set in both of the windows, that are the cookies storing the persistent/current session information and if that's possible, try a different browser or try to disable all your browser plugins, to eliminate possible interference from this end. I am not unable to replicate the problem, so if the issue will persist, please try to describe step-by-step how to replicate it since logout and a new login (including the browser version). Thanks.
Arty, I checked my cookies I don't see the two cookies you mentioned in the list while logged in here. My settings are to accept all cookies.

Illarion SovranusI have to concur with Quilvein with regards to the shortcuts bar, probably the biggest deal breaker for me thus far. I also agree with Aetoate Bace with regards to empty space, I liked being able to see the tree-like browser on the left to switch between pages in the same category more easily (although I suppose that's been superseded by the "address" bar at the top). Thanks for all the work you've put in maintaining and improving this site over the years, Artie!

Thank you for the details. It looks like a local problem and I am not entirely sure what may be causing it. The only thing that comes to my mind at the moment is that if you are accessing Inara via bookmark or URL autocomplete - isn't it putting address like "https://inara.cz/elite/news/?formact=User_Logout" there, so you are basically logging out immediately on the site opening? I should probably handle it differently, to prevent cases like this.

There is no logout command within the URL line. It looks like "https://inara.cz/elite/news/". Ah well.

Yes, "My profile > Contacts > Ignored users" or "Commander > Contacts and favorites > Ignored" on old Inara.

There is no logout command within the URL line. It looks like "https://inara.cz/elite/news/". Ah well.
Then I am out of ideas. I checked also the logs and nothing unusual there as well. It looks to me like something (either some plugin or the browser itself) is clearing your cookies after the session end/browser closing/etc. If nothing else, at least "elitesheet" cookie MUST be present. If not, something is removing it, especially if you don't see any cookie there at all.
