Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

I do miss the customizable favorites bar, though; I think new Inara would benefit greatly from that feature.

. I have found somewhat uneasy to using of main menu on phone (especially when I want access something on bottom like is cmdr gallery) but it may be just matter of time to get used to it. I often open the 'hamburger' menus instead of scrolling down the menu. Maybe having left side of main menu on phone active only for scrolling would work better.

I agree with this. At least let us have the old layout back as an option. I really don't enjoy this one since I am used to the old layout, and this feels so flat and empty. There is indeed lots of wasted space and the older layout just made sense in some way.
I beg, let us have it as an option.

As mentioned on the front page, the option is there - under "My profile" you can either turn the legacy mode on, which will set some things smaller (font, buttons, etc.) or switch back to old Inara.

Are you certain that you are using a correct e-mail address? Because the newer account registered has set an address in an incorrect form. So if you tried exactly this e-mail as a login, it didn't work (as the account has a correct e-mail address set). An option to log via name won't be available anymore and officially it's not a correct method for years. It just worked as a legacy feature.
The commodity search will take your latest location known as a default and then you can change it to something else. It's an intended functionality so you don't need to fill in your current location all the time. Unless I misunderstood the problem and you mean it's using a star system without coords - then yes, it would be good to improve that, indeed.

Not for the discussions, as I am considering a classic threaded forum model for the future updates and it won't go well with that. For the gallery, maybe, I will think about it.

You should reconsider. I agree with that idea. It will bring always the same behavior of the top menu.
Discuss menu can be the same as current menu on the Discuss page:

KrikieuWith the old Inara, I could setup my account so it was possible (Using permissions [I think] in the setup) to see what components I have without being logged in. With the new Inara, I need to be logged in to see it and I don't find any way to enable it so I can see it without being logged in.
Is there a way on how to do that?
I have removed it because almost everybody has it hidden. But I can put the option back I guess, it won't harm anything. I will take a look on that.

Ah, I thought there is meant a list of threads for some reason. Yeah, you are right, this can be good to have there. I will take a look on the tables in the mission description, too.
