Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieWhen the carrier details are hidden for the visitor, the link of the carrier on the fleet page leads to the general station page (like this), where is the stuff mentioned displayed.

Oh... well that sucks.. Well alright I guess that answers my concern. I'd still wish that page had the same granularity that the Cmdr pages have.

Well whatever. Thx for getting back to me.

That's odd, which station exactly it was, please?
(In any case, I have added the outfitting requirement there, to be sure).

Had to check my browser history, but the search had pointed me to Vela Relay in Col 285 Sector BF-W a45-0, which, although a surface military installation, does not offer any outfitting.

Hello I have a issue with my Commander Profile on Inarra. I imported my elite dangerous data from the servers. Before that it was an xbox transfer to PC. So is there a fix for this. My picture is not showing, squadron in not showing, ect. Only thing what shows is money and ranks.

Thanks for the clarification. It seems data is alright and it just really needed that outfitting check extra.

The profile image seems to be some ancient issue with the image missing, please just re-upload your avatar. The squadron on Inara needs to be joined "manually", there is no sync on journal import for privacy/security reasons.

At your next session start and its import. The Statistics event is written into the journal just during this occurrence, so the game stats numbers are updated just on that.

So I don’t know how this happened, but the PMF that my squadron is aligned to doesn’t show as a PMF on inara. How do I fix this?

Select the faction, select edit, change Player Faction to Yes. Boom!

Just want to drop a slice of feedback - I really, really don't like the 'new Inara' UI. It looks like taking three steps back for no understandable gain or benefit, it accomplishes the opposite of progress.

It's harder to find things - doing things like searching nearest system with a good parkable planet close to the jump point is next to impossible compared to the old site. Just trying to find supply locations for the Community goal was a struggle until I switched to the old site.

The old site's 'landing page' has a much better arrangement, with active Community Goals present and up front, all the news and updates presented, and other things like Galpedia - everything is tidy, arranged neatly, and there's no dead space dedicated to UI element backgrounds and borders, which is a sin repeated all over the place on the new site, which also neglects to include Community Goals or Galpedia for interesting browsing.

On top of that, the old site has the navigation bar - "Shipyard, Outfitting, Engineers, Blueprints, Components", etc. - right at the top, in an easy-to-access and visible location that doesn't obscure or hide anything. The new site hides all this stuff in an oversized drop-down menu that hides half of the screen, both requiring more clicks and making the website more difficult to navigate.

Whatever you're trying to do with this MMO RPG SPACE format, it's not working well at all.

You have no faction set for your squadron, so please specify which faction exactly and I can take a look at that. Otherwise as Aunty said, assuming it's some relatively new faction.

Thank you for the feedback.
About the "parkable planets", whatever it means - there was no change in the search of bodies and in the nearest searches in general (except a couple of extra options added), so I am not entirely sure what you are referring to. For the general commodity search - there was a lot of extra search options added as requested by commanders, so there was not possible to keep the previous format because it was a mess. But for example, getting a solid supply station for any commodity can be achieved by setting "I want to buy", "Min. supply/demand" and order by distance. It is something that wasn't achievable before, because it was either ordered by distance (so you had no control over the desired min. supply levels) or by supply (so you had no control over distance) and you needed to make a compromise between those two. In some cases like with the Tritium "gold rush" CG it may not have provided anything reasonable before, but it's possible now.

For the rest of the stuff please see this thread history - there was a reason for every change made and it's very likely explained there. Also, by the general feedback and various metrics I am/was watching, the changes apparently work well for a vast majority of users, although I understand it may not be everybody's cup of tea.

I don't generally read the bug page here since the update so am unaware if this has been posted already. Hutton Orbital Radio seems to have stopped working from your Radio page Artie. I've passed the problem to HOR incase it's at their end.

Plus, you know I appreciate you greatly Artworld but I must agree almost wholly with V'larr. The new UI is not user friendly. Before it was easy to navigate and now it just isn't. I can understand adding stuff but this complete change, I question the need.

I refuse to load up Odyssey for the same reason. My loss some might tell me, I agree.

Hi everyone,
especially to the creators of INARA, that I like and use so much. Such a great concept, and such a great and (in general) profecionally maintained site, an (or better the) anchorpoint for every E:D player
And here we are with the issue: I like the old INARA so much more, 1st thing I do now after login is "Switch to old Inara". The old Inara coverpage has such a good overview, with the goodies like Galpedia, and everything important and recent right there. It does require way less clicks, way less scrolling (all is so big now) to get to what you want to see.
As well the new search boxes where you constantly need to unfold and expand to get the stuff up that you always want to use in the 1st place.
As happy as I am with the existence of Inara, the new layout feels like a significant downgrade in accessability, usability and overview. I started to use other sites again more and more because of that, but in fact I don't want to, but for me it is unfortunately that bad.
The thing is, the old Inara was just perfect in my opinion, so this explains why I'm really quite disapointed. So please, at least keep the old Inara forever and with the old functions (some things don't seem to work anymore in the old version in the meantime it seems), and don't fix what's not broken.
Sorry for the rant, fly dangerously!

Parkable planets = finding a planet with an open slot for a Fleet Carrier, usually near to a Community Goal, and close to the system drop-in point. After spending more time comparing, the difference is smaller than I had thought, but it's still an additional step (the hover drop down menu) and I find the older layout easier to read - plus it has the helpful sidebar for further navigation, where on the new UI I need to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page if I want to navigate elsewhere.

The commodity search is improved over the old site, that is true; I hadn't taken a look at that, owing to already having found a supply station for the CG this week - that certainly was messier before.

If the UI navigation has larger buttons to make it easier to access on mobile, I can understand that, but there is a lot of 'dead zone' space whereas the old UI doesn't waste screen real estate, which may be more apparent on smaller resolutions (I'm viewing inara on a 900p secondary monitor, for example).

I'd explore the thread history but there doesn't seem to be a search function, and with over 800 pages, I'm not sure where I would start.

At least, I'm giving the new UI a second thought, but I think it could be tidier and again, I miss having Community Goals & Galpedia on the home page (which is now /elite/news, I guess).
