Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Seems to be a bug, after Eburnakura the carrier was in Hernir. Now such waypoint is missing, is that ok?

Yes, I noticed that effect too. Apparently, the handler doesn't allow duplicate names. That's worth fixing.

Hi Artie,

I was wondering if you could make the squadron\roster page column titles sortable?

Thanks

Hi, Artie! Thank you for constantly improving Inara. I recently discovered a new field in commodities search. It says "Beware of the bulk sales tax for mined commodities in stations with a low demand (marked red) ...".
But it seems to me that this is unnecessary. After all, when you hover over the "Demand" (marked red) cell, a message will appear anyway. And also - this new field takes up useful space on the screen.
I think it should be removed.
Thanks.

Hello, I quite often see complaints like "Inara is lying about prices" and in most cases it's originating from the fact the user was not aware of the bulk tax (and the rest is either because he is playing in the Legacy or didn't notice the price age information). Although the information about the demand was already there as you mention, it apparently was not so obvious, so this will hopefully resolve it. It's displayed there just for the selling prices of the mined commodities though (as those should be affected by the tax), so it hopefully won't be so obtrusive.

Not at the moment (it requires some major changes in how the table data is being loaded), but it's definitely on my list.

Just for the transparency, this was replied via e-mail earlier.

Yeah, I am currently using a general station location stuff for that (like for bulk cruisers location changes). I may improve it later on.

Hey again - regarding the new fancy directional arrows per https://inara.cz/elite/board-thread/1/464853/#464853

Could you add a helpful mouseover tooltip explaining the meaning of the different colors? The guess so far is being related to X/Y/Z coordinate placement but I can't find any info on how to interpret the symbols & colors.

also, using slightly different symbols for each could be worth a thought for the colorblind

The arrow direction is based on the galactic map grid (XZ coords) of the target star system and the color on its Y coord. More blue = the star system position is more "upwards" from the reference location, more red = more "downwards". As the galactic plane is relatively flat, I didn't bother with any other indication as it's already quite visually busy and the XZ direction is usually more important than Y.

Also I wanna say about old brown markings in faction's influence chart. They was used for systems where that faction is dominant/based (not just presented)
It has been removed from Inara on purpose or due to rework procedures?
Also just now realized we don't have Commander's permits profile here. Like what you have acces to, copied from ship's interface in 4th window.

It's still there - yellow color for its home/origin star system, blue for recent significant gains, red for losses, the rest in grey. There never been any special color for being a controlling faction or so in the given star system in the chart.

Hi, I was wondering if Ground Conflict Zone intensity was recorded in journal files/available to EDDN?

I've been doing some BGS work lately, and noticed that settlements appear to have fixed intensities.
E.g. Settlement 1 is owned by Faction A, who is at war with faction B, and the settlement is a High intensity zone. Once the war is over, and a new war starts between Faction A and C, Settlement 1 will remain a High intensity zone.

Since learning about this quirk, I was wondering if it was possible to parse the EDDN data, finding settlements in a War/Civil War state, and are known to be High/Med/Low intensity?

McQuarrie Landing is incorrectly labled as Sparport with Large pads, it only has medium

I love this idea. Not sure if it's possible, but there's a clear need to ensure we can tell what's H/M/L before we get to Frontline in a system to check; this would help.

Why aren't they fixing THIS? That's a few of the Engineers planets, impossible to dock, so no more engineering.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the surface conflict zones in the journal, so I can only get an information that some settlement is a stake in the conflict plus a vague information somebody arrived into the conflict zone, but that's it. No further zone details like the intensity, progress, etc.

It's best to contact Frontier's support about that. Also check if you are having latest graphics card drivers, etc.

It is a starport, it just shows an incorrect icon in the nav panel in the game.
