Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Shg56Hello Artie,
Would it be possible to separate completely the discussions of Starfield stuff to its own tab so there is no confusion about what game people are talking about in updates, bug reports and requests section? Thank you

Hello, possibly, if it will grow into a huge mess with the current setup.

Arson Song
ArtieBy toggle/filter you mean what exactly? I am not sure what is meant as you can adjust the search and filter the results as you wish already?

When I enter in search criteria, what results is a list of star systems and planets. Is there a way to show only Star Systems or only Planets?

I see, thanks for the clarification. At the moment, the search results are primarily about the planets - either the results are short enough that grouping by a star system isn't that much useful or there are so many results on very broad searches that grouping it probably isn't very useful either. Is there some specific search/situation where it may be handy?

VexFlorezAre the databases somehow publicly accessible, or all basically private?
Currently working on a tool to allow for easier outpost finding.

E.G. A user sets their habitation skill, and which resources they still need, and it will then figure out what is the least outposts required to get all of these resources.
Would also be fine with implementing this directly for Inara. Just would love to have this option for people.

There is no public access to the database (it's rarely a good idea to do so), but I may expose some data via API later on (no promises in that regard though, as there is a mixed experience with people doing nasty things from the past). I however also have a very sketchy idea for some outpost building tool/helper, so I am open to suggestions what it should do, etc.

Artie, any plans to add Pre-Engineered Modules?
Looked but didn't see anything in Crafting...

Hi Artie,
Would it be possible to have a cargo per mass column on the ship cargo modules (Starfield).
Thank you for a cracking site.

As Sampi said, it's there already.

Thank you, I find myself emboldened to ask for the same treatment on the fuel tanks as well please.

I've noted that you have some ship structure modules showing as having hull, I immediately headed to the shipyards to have my hopes dashed by the game not having the rights stats...

Ah, yes, it's very likely wrong and some old stuff that remained there from the early days. I still need to take a pass over the struct modules. Thanks for mentioning it.
The fuel per mass values are there.

Thank you again! I don't know if you want to highlight the HopeTech (and Demios?) corridors that are useful for forcing doorways on the hab connections.

Excellent site! For the Starfield ship weapons tables, would it be possible to have a 'Total DPS' column (12/(MAX PWR)*DPS)?

Unfortunately, there isn't much space in the table to add another column(s) and it also will become quite busy. But, I have experimentally changed the values to "damage per second per power" (to have it normalized) with more details about the numbers in the tooltip. Let's see how this solution will be useful, any feedback appreciated.

The tooltip is great. Range would also be really useful on the table. Rate of Fire doesn't seem that important, perhaps RoF could be demoted to the tooltip and range added in it's place?

the now-obtainable Xenobiological Prison Pods: https://inara.cz/elite/commodity/10450/

Were renamed to
Thargoid Bio-Storage Capsule
in game

with the (right side panel) description:
A pod-like object extracted from a Thargoid ship. The item houses a human bio-signature.

Hi Team,

[Elite Dangerous]
Apologies if this question has already been answered, I did a look\search through the post, couldn't find anything.
Question on Cmdr imports and if what I'm seeing is expected. I have ED market connector running when in game and often also do a import game data from the Cmdr overview page at other times, when for example I've completed some module engineering. I can see the changes to items such as credits, current location, etc occur near immediately which is fantastic. However the current build of a ship containing the engineered module does not update to match what has changed in game and seems to take up to 24 hours.
Is this expected? If not, is there a trick to getting it to update as quickly as the other data?
Thanks again for an excellent site.

You need to be in the ship in question, log in and out of the game should help as well as that will generate the journal records you need when you log back in. You shouldn't need to do a game import as those can't be more often than 15mins.

I know when I wanted to add the cargo value of all my ships so they showed in Inara I was able to chug through them fairly quickly.
