Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hello, the loadout name may reflect it and as (in opposite of the ships) there is not much reasons to give loadouts some "nice" names, there is no plan to add the role there. About the distances travelled for the ships - there is no lifetime value for the individual ships in the journal, so I am afraid it's not possible (and counting it "manually" on Inara's end may be very incomplete when the journals aren't imported by the player regularly).

the programmers for the eddb tools could easily add that as it is a simple calculation from start to end of each log with possible interruptions during each session(logfile).
Provided you actually use the fsd, no way to track LS without manual input and quite pointless(you will remember what long rides to avoid(Hutton))
Not really any reason to do so though imo..
My program has fuel useage indicators. barely useful...more useful to pay attention to the ship...ship can go empty and blow up before its written to the log.
And the logs occasionally get the wrong numbers in them and then my prg freaks because I have TOO MUCH FUEL(fuel scooping) Scooping throws the games math out quite often.
A cmdr usually sees clearly which ships they spend the most time in.
Otherwise..I have named a few ships just for Farmer Jones, usually when I store old modules in one..then rename it to like, 'V-204 Viper Extreme, used twice.'
T-11 T-9 - 'Fluffy, only driven in summer'
etc...
have to find humor where you can and believe me, naming ships was once seriously important and boring..now its just fun coming up with new names every day...

as long as you stop to repair ship integrity every time you dock, your ship is like 100% new. and no-one can prove otherwise.
IMO other than record makers, distance traveled is only useful for 1 engineer and totally ONLY important to an awake pilot starting to hallucinate at which time still irrelevant, time eyes open is noticeable by most.

maybe I missed here something, but where has the detailed/current missions log gone?
In missions log I now see only a monthly summary, but no longer my active missions nor details about past missions. Is there a new menu point which I didn't find until now, is a setting wrong on my side or is this feature abandoned?

Hello, the missions log (and the flight log) are always detailed as usual, but the older records are condensed into the monthly summary after the 1-2 months. It was always like that.

PENNY NOONI notice the flight log is correctly showing what ship I took, including when it was the apex shuttle. Well sometimes I wonder if I had a.. space odometer, how far each ship has flown. Is that shown anywhere?
Yes. EDDiscovery can show you ship statistics by each ship.
Number of jumps, Light Years Travelled, Bodies Scanned, number of times destroyed, etc

For example, search for : Akashi Rosenblum
You have a page found with location Starfield > Database > Characters > Akachi Rosenblum
The levels Starfield and Database are clickable and navigate to a summary for that level.
The Characters level is not clickable, also there is no "Characters" page listed on the main Database summary. I guess it should appear under the Galaxy column, below the "Quest And Missions" summary shortcut.
Is the NPC summary page still under construction ?
Other question, the NPC page does not have a portrait. Can we provide you with portraits ? (that would be a nice activity in the game^^)
If yes, what is the prefered format and size ?

It would be very cool if we could log in both main and alt and effortlessly switch between them somehow.
Edit: Also Inara refuses to update info on my carrier, probabaly since my alt doesn't have a carrier
edit edit: Also just now noticed that the name on top of the page is CMDR Pauley Mccoy, while down on the page under Commander Information my alts name is listed - looks like both accounts have somehow merged
edit edit edit: logging out both account then in my alt, then out my alt, then in my main - it says "loaded charactername - my alts character name"

But I don't know where if you can expire it, but anyway I think you may find you authenticated them both for the same frontier ID on accident
I mean it sounds like maybe you did the periodic frontier auth renewal for inara account 1 with frontier account 2, maybe, Mr. CMDR Pauley

Pauley MccoyFor some reason Inara thinks that I spent 12 billion credits the other day. What I did was log out of my alt's Inara account and into my main's, and now they seem to be mixed up (my main account lost 12 billion to end up on the same amount as my alts)

Hello, as Penny mentioned, it seems you have linked an incorrect game account by accident. The best way to resolve this is to visit your Commander > Commander settings page, unlink your game account there and link your game account anew. You may also want to logout on Frontier/Epic/Steam page first in the same browser, so there will be ensured it will ask for your credentials during the linking process and you can verify a correct game account is being linked. Then delete any excessive records (like credits) where needed.

Yeah, there should be all NPCs in the database, but I didn't make any overall page for them as it seemed unnecessary, but I can add one if desired. About the portraits - at this point I want to wait what the upcoming game patch will bring (it seems there will be various improvements in the character appearances) and then I would like to take a look at the portraits of the important characters (at least). I will certainly appreciate some extra screenshots and I can post some simple requirements for them here then. I am a little bit undecided if I want to make them same as for the companions or with the body more visible (as it will help to identify them in the game better), so I will also test that first. Thanks.

Btw, my main account is off the frontier store (standalone launcher) while my alt is on steam, so they don't even authenticate in the same place
