Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

For the medals thing, I personally would prefer for them to be customizable. I think our pilots would be happy knowing that the wing in general know waht their medal is for, and there could be a listing possibly for outsiders within the history page which describes the medals which have been customizd (name, reason for giving etc)

but in all honesty I'd be happy with being able to give folks medals at all

When i search in outfitting:

"3c beam laser gimballed"

i get "cannot execute sql query error", check it out.

Usually that means no station sells it within 300 LY of your location

Thanks for the info, but either way, message like that is quite generic, i would consider changing it to something more 'user-friendly' :-P

Huhm, sorry, tried to recall where i was and tried to replicate it but no luck. All system/station combos i've tried now give normal output.

API is on the list, but rather for something that will be useful here on Inara (or brings data in, eventually) than for usage in other apps. I think it will be better to push Frontier to make an official API for this kind of stuff... [/quote]

Touche, I just meant something that would allow an app developer(like myself) make a mobile version of the site. That is if you don't already have a mobile version of the site in the works or done already. I like to check on things on my breaks at work and I'm not too fond of loading full websites on my phone.

Well, Inara works on mobile devices, it's a full page though. As just something around 10% uses this on mobiles/tablet, I think it doesn't worth the effort now.

No settings for this, I rather want to keep profiles public, otherwise it may lead to a state where majority of commanders will be having their profiles hidden or with very limited visibility and the overall information value will decrease.

Not only does it work on mobile, but it works beautifully. I use it on there more than not, I think, so I appreciate it.
