Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Happy DazeI would like to Archive some Private Messages, but don't see any button or checkmark to archive older messages in my profile.

At the moment, the private messages archival is just automatic, but I may improve that later.
The problem with the interstellar factors is probably similar to the ones discussed here earlier - the game is reporting them as present in the station, although the actually aren't because some condition is temporarily removing them from there.

Hmmm, I suppose you have been in the game recently? Because I do not see any journals available to fetch from the Frontier's server for the last week or so. You can try to relink your game account (in the Commander settings reset the link and then link it anew and also ensure a correct game account is being linked), maybe that will help with the problem.

Our squadron is having a little "Who did what to whom, and who did it first" with a couple of other squadrons where we expanded into a system they owned and they jumped to the conclusion that we were planning on taking control of the system and started making all sorts of accusations.
It would be great to have a way to clear this up.

Happy DazeArtie, is there any way to look at historic data for a system? I'm specifically thinking about the graphs showing Influence and system control. I can drag the graph but it doesn't fill in with previous data. I'm looking as far back as 2001 & 2002.
Our squadron is having a little "Who did what to whom, and who did it first" with a couple of other squadrons where we expanded into a system they owned and they jumped to the conclusion that we were planning on taking control of the system and started making all sorts of accusations.
It would be great to have a way to clear this up.

Only what is displayed in the minor faction's history, I do not store these data indefinitely (as except the cases like these it has no use). Also, in the first years of Elite nobody was even gathering these data (because there were no journals, etc.) so if goes really far back, it will be just about a guess anyway.

Luther McKainHi Artie. Hope you are doing well. We discovered that there are some ground settlements (Horizons INstallations, no docking) which arent in Inara. We tried several things like scanning the data points etc having EDMC as well as EDDiscovery running. We see an event sent to eddn via EDDiscovery "Approach Settlement", but those dont get up into Inara.
Any idea how those could be captured?

Hmmm... I will check, I think that I have disabled this schema from the EDDN because there were some problems with it in the past (like some apps providing misplaced stations) or so. I will recheck the situation. Either way, the settlement should be added after the journal import here on Inara in any case.

A couple requests:
I have had to write a lot of messages lately that include historical data, including comments in our Discussion Tab which has HTML like tags you use for quoting and the tags above like Bolding, etc.
I don't have a way to review the message before sending it. So I'm requesting a "Review Message" button that will show what the message will look like when it sends, and gives me a way to edit the message before it sends. I know I can edit it after, but it would be better to edit it before.

When in a message, the title and recipients names don't show up. It would be great if that info showed up at the top of the first message.
Edit: It would also be nice to be able to save a message I'm writing to prevent losing the content if I inadvertently tab away from the message being edited. (my own fault, I know...)f

Ah, yes, absolutely, that was my oversight, the Solvent is there.
I am not entirely sure what is meant by that guide, can you please clarify? Although this may not have been meant this way, it comes to my mind that I do not have the outcome of outpost Builder modules listed anywhere and it may be worth to look on.

The message formatting can be previewed via the last icon on the toolbar, which will switch from plain text to wysiwyg edit mode. In the messages, the recipients and the subject it displayed in the reply, but it's right it may be better to show it also somewhere at the top. The rest noted.
