Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

members now can "participate" on missions, similar as is in community goals. It tracks number of members involved in mission and can be also later used for medals awarding
Artie, how can we use this for awarding medals? (or identifying who is taking part) I mean how can we interrogate who the members are that have accepted the mission. It is not on the missions page, nor does there seem to be an entry in the achievements section of the Comd's Log

i never had a notification in the top menu bar (wing)
but there was a notification on the left side (missions)
Interesting, it basically uses the same mechanism for notification on top bar and side bar, so technically there is no reason why it shouldn't work. Maybe it is just a display issue, what browser are you using?

There will be more detailed list of participating wing members displayed (I will add it there in few days), also with some checkboxes for "most valuable" members on the selected mission. It will be later used as "weight factor" for medal awarding. Medals are not here yet and will be added in some of the next updates, but it will be good to have some things prepared for it already.

incorrect corridge, i wanna say would be nice have the possibilty to make mission visible only for certain players (rank, flight etc)

EnabledIrishArtie, loving the mission ability. I was just wondering if it would be (or is it and I'm just not seeing it) possibly to assign flights, or the such to a specific misson? Ex: alpha flight assigned to this system for undermining, bravo to this, so on.
Probably not, at least not as mission participants, so it will be rather formal act than mechanics (so specific squadrons/flights can be "assigned" by you in mission description similar way). I want to be sure (more or less) that wing members that participate on the mission are not auto-assigned by any reason. In other words - I want to be sure that they really participated or at least wanted to participate on the given mission and they weren't assigned to the mission by any other mechanic (even they weren't in the game or on Inara), which will be unfair to the other wing members participating in conjunction with medal awarding.

Good luck with your wing! To propose a coalition to any other wing simply visit their page and there is a small form on the top right corner.

better still have it sortable by any of the fields ,
possibly even with the default sort able to be set by whoever created the mission

Yes, I have it done already, I will put it online with other minor tweaks soon (tomorrow probably).
PantyxbanditxI just have a quick question I recently changed Powers how do I update my Federation pilot's license to show I'm with a different power now it still says Zachary Hudson but I'm not and I can't find out how to update it
The signature images aren't regenerated immediately usually (it may take up to one hour or two), as part of the optimizations. So your change will appear there slightly later. But, you can eventually turn your signature image off and then turn it on again - it will force the system to regenerate the image immediately.
