Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

How often does the pricing get updated? I love this site!! The look and ease of use is great, but some older pricing have cost a ton of travel and profit. By the way I have been in Bestii and LTT 8517.

Just FYI, I got offerer 1 proprietary composite as a reward for a mission yesterday. In the engineer components, they are identified as being found in signal sources only.

Not to take anything away from inara.cz but eddb.io has the most recent prices since all 3rd party tools update it in the first place.

etn.io was my preferred trade site but it had some problems after 2.1 was released. It seems OK but I haven't used it recently.

It usually depends on  the traffic and commanders using MarketConnector, as it is currently the main source of the prices. Some stations are updated very often (on hourly basis or less), some are updated less frequent. The price data are coming here over EDDN, so basically all sites like EDDB or Thrudd's are using the same set of data.

Artie, do you pull data from EDDB whenever a page is loaded, or is there some periodic refresh?

I ask because I've seen markets with data reading aged when I myself had been there several times that day and uploaded fresh data using the Connector.

Do you know if EDDB has a lag before new updates are made available?

Just to clarify one thing - EDDN is not same as EDDB. Although EDDB (eddb.io) is a great site, I am not using any data from it. On the opposite, EDDN (https://github.com/jamesremuscat/EDDN/wiki) is not a regular website, but a service where are data coming from. Technically it works that way: MarketConnector gets data (market/shipyard/outfitting) from the Frontier's iOS API, sends it to the EDDN server and that server broadcasts it to all subscribers which then handle it as they like. Inara is subscribed to this stream as a background service, it's not related to the website traffic or page refreshes and operates completely independent. As far as I know, the delay between "MarketConnector button click" and "Inara market page updated" is in a matter of seconds, so almost real-time. Of course, some lags may happen (let's say in a dozen of seconds), but it should be rather an exception than a rule.

If your data via MarketConnector are not appearing here at all, then it may be caused by some nonstandard application identifier (I whitelisted trustworthy apps and discarding the other data, which is just a few percent of the data coming). For example, common MarketConnector "build" is using identifier "E:D Market Connector [Windows]". Are you using something else? Otherwise, I don't see any other issue, everything seems to be working as intended (for example, as I see in the log, there were 16 market price updates in the last five minutes).

Thank you Artie. I was confused and didn't even know it - the worst kind of confused. AFAIK the market connector I'm using the the official/original tool.

I'm currently out exploring so I can't go to a nearby station that shows "stale" data, update and see if it propagates to Inara - but will try to remember to do so once back in inhabited space.

The Connector is set up to sync with EDSM and I'm seeing my exploration progress there on the site and in EDDiscovery that reads from there as well.

Thank you for explaining and educating me, and for clearing up EDDN - I think this is the puzzle piece I've been missing.

It is interesting idea, but although they cancelled the CQC championship, they announced a different tournament (The Icarus Cup) instead. So let's see how this one will be going first...
