Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieLuscinia: Please post it here or send it via PM to me, thanks.
Monas: Great!
Yeah, from what I'm seeing a majority of minerals can be found mission based - (for example Arsenic, Selenium <---(wow), and Polonium). It also seems that there are only three different types of rocks that spawn, each with only a specific type of rock output. I dunno if that last past is already known by the other players, I could just be late. I was thinking of maybe writing down and drawing out the different types of frequencies that the rocks provide, if you'd be interested in having them?

I've heard a rumour that very rare and harder mats only exist on certain planets and rings and that there is only one type per location. Can anyone verify? E good side is if you find a planet or mining ring with something like yttrium, then that location will be a place you can return to for that specific material. If this rumour is true (sorry I didn't remember to link where I read it) than it would be great to have a list of what's where.

I think you'll find all that info here - - - http://wavescanner.net/

Truly I would like the ability to wait in queue for CQC to be extended to Open/Solo mode with updates sent to us in game via messages on the quorum status but I don't think FD will make this change.
Is this even possible? Your guys thoughts?

FrankfortHi artie great job on the new updates
just a question can you add a feature that you can pick trade routes between selected systems and stations.
having a system and station X and a destination system and station Y so your favorite system and commodity can be used as primary and the latter to find the best return good of the selected stations.
Hello, yes, I have something like that on my ToDo already, but I am currently unable to tell when it will be here.

Thanks, I will add this info to the materials. I think the information about specific rock type is not needed, as it is mostly based on luck anyway.
GoldenboyjimWhat if? We created a menu option that you could log into using our profiles, either on your phone or PC, and wait in a virtual queue for CQC and then when enough people are ready, send everyone a text or email alerting them to switch over to CQC.

The idea is interesting, but I am afraid it won't work because of matchmaking. There is no direct control of it and even with enough players "here" it doesn't mean it will work and it will match them together "there".
Martind ForlonCan be set privacy also for ships details please? (option to allow display ships details for wing members only)
Yes, I will add the proper option there during today.

Hmmm, yeah I hadn't considered that. I just have high hopes for CQC and its a shame it gets a lack of love in the game. Its almost impossible to get XB1 players to make a quorum and there isn't a good way to let you know how long it will take. Thanks for the reply.

That's an inspired idea... I would love a big entry on the configurable tool bar that you could click and toggle easily between your CQC preference.
CQC - Not now
CQC - DM
CQC - TDM
CQC - CTF
etc.
However, I think that the problem is with UPNP and instancing in Elite Dangerous. even if enough people were waiting, i doubt we'd be able to get on the same servers (or even get on any server)...
It would make a nice experiment, though.

The changes to the logs are very nice, however I REALLY want to be able to change the date of something and there are log entries I want to add from my exploration of the outer rim. However, I have noticed that I can now only add them at the current date.
Furthermore, I cannot back date the Engineers access dates. I received access to them the day Engineers was released but my logs show access granted at the time I entered them into the log.
The inability to adjust the dates of new log entries is unfortunate.
Cheers.
Craig.

hchalkleyI have been able to include a number of your suggestions, so here's the update to the reference manual
Updated Manual: Journal_Manual.doc
Updated sample journal file: Journal.160726141417.01.log
I won't have much time to make further changes over the next couple of weeks, but there may be a chance for a few more tweaks later on

Silverdrake220This is probably a silly question, but how long will sites like this one and things like sidewinder radio going to be around? Also what is the life expectancy of elite. Not trying to be chicken little here, I really enjoy this game and want to see it around for a long time. I want to see it grow and and keep growning. It dose have a lot of supposed challenges ahead with other games coming out. I sorta take that with a grain of salt because every Game like wow that came out was supposed to dethrone wow and non ever did. I just want to keep playing and enjoying everything this game has to offer including sites like this one that add to the game and game play
I think this would be better placed in the general forum. This is for site features, bug reports and requests.

Artie, a little while back, I was discussing EDSM integration. If it's not possible to import flight history into Inara from EDSM, how about just the "current location".
It could be set to update at some specific period, daily from EDSM and there could be an "update now" button. that would pull in the most recent record from EDSM.
That would be splendid.

Ah, right, I can enable date changes for the custom achievements, it breaks nothing. But, there won't be any date adjustments for the in-game stuff that can be imported from the journal in the future, as date changes may cause complications (for example between two imports) and I also want to keep it simple (not selectively enable date changes for something and just under some circumstances, it's PITA).
Martind ForlonArtie maybe this can be for you interesting, saw it now, maybe this info you have already. Was posted yesterday afternoon
Yes, I saw that, thanks.

My plan is to keep this site going for the Elite lifetime, and maybe even further. Worst case that can happen is that there won't be any new features added, but the domain and the server is currently paid for few years in advance and I have no intention to shut it down anytime soon. But I cannot speak for any other site/tool authors, of course.
GraXXoRMe again; apologies.

I am not sure about it at this moment, let's see after the journals and how it will be going with them.
