Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Gravity wells only slow the FSD down, they don't provide any acceleration.

Unfortunately, sling-shotting isn't a thing in the game.

Yep, though one has to marvel at when you go face-first into a planet and decelerate like you do, you remain seated in your Pilot's chair and don't end up as smear on the windshield

Hai, uh.. could you maybe add the g5 double shot fragment cannon recipe to that nice list you've got?

I'm using Inara mostly for those nice lists you've got...
..since I keep forgetting what random trinkets I've to procure for those mods, so.. that'd be great an' all..
Thanks.

I don't slow down when I pass a stellar body. I speed up. If you slow down, then why does your ships computer tell you to slow down? If i slow down, then you why does my throttle speed up past my blue sweet zone? I fly right past it, throttle returns to max and I keep going. Never slowing. Please explain.

The reason you don't faceplant the windshield after crashing into a planet is because the ship doesn't actually decelerate. The frame shift drive operates on the premise of warping the fabric of space around the ship. The ship isn't actually moving inside the bubble it creates.

Although if we are using that explanation then really our ships should nuke (spit out lots of nasty radiation at) whatever we're facing when we drop out of Supercruise. That's what physicists think would happen with an Alcubierre drive.

Indeed. But Elite is also a game where you can see lasers and hear sounds in space... so there's quite a few liberties taken. Rightfully so, of course, sometimes it's better to fudge things a bit for the sake of keeping things entertaining.
